Sept has low crowds but is still very hot! Mid to late October is better also a week after Easter is great till early June. Jan and Feb can be be crowded around group functions and President's Day. Also that time you will find closures happening.

I'm in my first year as an annual pass holder, so far, every weekend i've been has been super busy. Weekdays, right now are great, once we got past the spring break/easter vacationers...seriously don't go near it then!!..it's been nice. One thing to look for though, Cheerleading competitions. Worlds just competed and lemme tell ya, a bazillion cheer leaders in packs of ten to twenty really bogged down the lines. If your looking for really warm weather I would suggest after spring break but before summer break.

Usually September and January are good times. The beginning of February can be good too, but there's a lot of Brazilian groups in the park at that time.

We always go either the first 2 weeks of may or the last 2 weeks, we're from England and we pull our kids out of school to come as summer is far to manic, have always been able to get on most things without more than a 15 min wait. The only rides we have to fast pass are RnR and TSM in Hollywood Studios. And the weather is fantastic then as well. :):)

I'm thinking maybe we'll go mid to late january. We're trying to avoid the christmas decorations since we don't celebrate it. And I'm the kind of person who can only go in the summer or right around christmas, so even a slightly less crowded time would probably be great for me.

Yep, no real quiet times like back in the day. I know its unfathomable to some but I remember days that we walked on Main Street on a Saturday mid-morning and it was almost like pre-park opening in-park breakfast population. Pretty sparse. Think of times kids are typically in school and that's your best bet. Disney has gotten skilled at filling the dead times so don't expect true emptiness.

Our last parks visit was mid-Sept. 2011. It was a lot busier than I thought it'd be. I'd call it medium not low attendance. But it's all relative. For someone accustomed to summer/holiday crowds you'll feel like its empty. For someone who knows what it's like to be there when its really empty it'll feel like the crowds have descended. :D[/quote
We, too, were there Sept 28-Oct 6 back in 2011.....and it was THE MOST CROWDED I had ever seen! With the FAWF, the Marathon at night, and MNSSHP is was almost unbearable! Plus it was in the 90's everyday! But still, we'll go whenever we get the chance, and if everybody else feels the same way, then there aren't ever going to be any "slack" times anymore.

I believe late September is one of the best times. Never been able to go then myself though.

Nope not any more. It used to be all of september. Im actually bumping my vacation early september because of the food and wine festival. Its an absolute mess there when it first begins.

Best time now is around Mid september. Dates would be September 6th to 20th roughly.

I went for a few days last October. It was crowded, but managable. For the most part, we didn't have a long wait for the rides. We waited a few times, but it was better than April's spring break crowds.

I'd say during September. I went to MK and Universal (HHN) and Islands during the day. HHN was full, but as for the other two parks I went to the next day MK and Islands, they were fairly empty. Wait times for max 30 minutes. I was quite impressed. Yet again, that was before New Fantasyland opened up. Summer is the cheapest, so therefore, it's the fullest in the park then and most hot ! The ride waits are usually long and in the baring heat, I don't usually like to wait. But, most people travel late on in the week around Thursday or Friday and im sure the weekend is when it's full too. If leave or get there Monday or Wednesday I'm sure it would make a difference in the crowd!

Early to mid October (not Columbus Day weekend though). You'll get lower crowds, nice weather, MNSSHP, and the Food & Wine Festival. Can't beat it. Plus you might even luck out with a free dining promotion.

You may want to be aware of Martin Luther King holiday weekend (Jan 20, 2014). I think January is the best time!!!!

Even those dates are no longer safe.

That's our usual time frame and in the last 3 years it's gotten busy, relative to that time frame. Even Stitch had a 20 minute wait on some days......that says a lot.

tough to say, because a "low" crowd doesnt really exist anymore...but with my experience, the best time (which is now the ONLY time we go) are the few weeks before thanksgiving week. the crowds are moderate and not too bad, and since im from CT going into low 80's orlando is still a nice treat, though the florida natives are in jackets.

im going next year november 4-11, so the Christmas decorations will be up, the weather is great, the crowds are moderate..
