when is the Best time to visit?

Hi,
I really want to visit Orlando with my wife and two children but I dont know the best time of year to come. We are not so bothered if it is not hot, but when the queus are not so long.

I've been in early November twice: 1998 and 2001. Both times it was a perfect vacation. No crowds (we rode Splash mountain 3 times in 20 minutes once!), absolutely perfect weather (didn't get a drop of rain on either visit, and it wasn't uncomfortably hot but warm enough for the grandson to play in the sprinker thingies). I loved November!

I'm heading there on sept. 13th for 5 days - how is that time of year for weather / crowds?

We were there at that time 5 years ago and are going at the end of Sept. this year. The weather is still very warm but the crowds are much less. We didn't have to hardly wait for anything and this was before fastpass. And you can still enjoy the pools and water parks if you wish.

Something which I feel that you need to consider :-
In peak times the crowds are heavier (lines are longer) but the park hours are increased. Also, the parades are run sometimes twice a day (SpectroMagic at MK) with the fireworks every night.
When the crowds are lighter, lines are reduced, park hours are less and the SpectroMagic and fireworks are only done at weekends.

Living here, we say the best time to avoid long lines and crowds is in the middle of Jan. It's also not that hot. It is usually between 50 and 72.

We went last December the week before. The weather was generally great. (One cold day, one cool day and the rest was perfect) There were no lines to speak of except for the Pooh ride. Plus you get to see Disney World at Christmas time which is truly magical. So much so, that we are going back again. Grand Floridian here we come!!!

enough--Believe me if I could make it get here faster I would. What I keep thinking though is only a month more of school and then the summer and then WDW!!!
