Hi , all - first i want to say you guys have helped me alot lately and im really excited to be runing disney in jan. , now my question ,? when does the resorts fill up ? when would be the best time to book for 2013 , bc my dad told me i could talk to my aunt ( whos a travel agent about reversation in sept. is that to early .. to start looking for marthon weekend?, this is my first marthon weekend so im new at this..:xmas:

It is never too early to start booking. Many people book their Disney vacations, marathon or otherwise, 9-12 months in advance. If you do not really care where you stay I would book when discounts come out for your travel dates or about 90 days prior (which ever comes first) If you are particular about where you stay I would book as soon as you can swing the deposit.

They don't post the 2013 rates until either late August or Early September... so that's when you should book it. As far as I know if a promotion comes along and you already booked... I think you can ask for the promotion. (I actually think I did that once) Before getting DVC we used to call them in August to ask when the rates would come out.
