When does it all end?

We started in the early 80's when our kids were kids. Now we have to invite them along so the grandkids get to go. We do manage to go alone every couple years.

This year our baby (31 ) and his family are going along. His wife and 5 YO
making her second trip and 2 YO her first trip outside of the womb.

I've already messed up the cycle. I grew up going to DL then didn't do anything Disney from 92-08. We took the kids in 08, 09 and twice this year(March & Sept). We were supposed to go last September but had to cancel because of DD's cheerleading, which actually created the two trips this year.

Up until 08 I never made enough to take us to WDW.

Next year we're going to DL and other SoCal spots to revisit my childhood and meet/see some of my family for a change. Then it will be back to WDW for as long as I can make it happen!

Well for our family i dont think it will ever end(or maybe I just hope not!) My wife and I went down for our fist time in 1998( she was pregnent with our oldest at the time and we both had been as children). We have gone every year since our oldest was 4 1/2 youngest was 3 and many years we have gone multiple times. Our family still loves it and we will keep going till we dont hope that doesnt happen lol

For me it will hopefully end when my dear son drops a container of my ashes into the 7 seas lagoon some dark night .

I was thinking the same thing as I was reading the posts before I got to yours.
But before that time I dream of the day I can retire and spend my days at Disney, completely free, not having to count the days down when the trip will end.

My first visit was in 1991 on a honeymoon with my first wife.

I'm now 43 and with my second wife.

Having gone 3 times before getting married, Tracy understood before marrying me that if we're gonna stay together..........................................WE'RE GONNA GO TO DISNEY WORLD!

I've lost count. I've been basically every year (many times, multiple) since I was around 2.

I'm 26 and am headed there again this month after just being there in January. Going to Disneyland in June as well.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only person that thinks that way!:ROFLOL:

My first trip to WDW was to the reception center in 1971 (prior to the Magic Kingdom opening). I remember going into the room that held the scale model layout of the Magic Kingdom for the presentation and thinking there's no way they can build this...Oh well what did a 9 year old kid know back then. When we went back in 1972 and I rode the monorail through the Contemporary and then saw the Magic Kingdom for the first time, I was in awe! I still get that feeling each time I return! Fortunately for me I have a DW and DS that love WDW as much as I do!

Move on over and make room in that boat...I am pretty sure by the time we all get in it will SINK!!! You are for sure NOT alone. We have been going to WDW for 15 years now and trip #12 is only 106 days away. I have gotten to the point where I am booking the next trip before we even leave..so I never have to deal with the feeling of WHEN will we be going back. We have 2 DD (19 and 17) and cant wait for our first trip just DH and I!!! We will be celebrating 20 years this trip...so for me is wondering when will the kids stop coming with us...Me i am ready to cut the strings but it will be much harder to DH....can you say SUCKER stamp on his forhead!!!!!

Had to laugh when I read this, because I was the sucker this past March that decided it would be a good idea to bring our DD (19) and DS (14) along with us on what was supposed to be our 20th anniversary getaway and first trip alone since our honeymoon! :ROFLOL: For the record, we ended up having more fun than the kids once again (no surprise there) and my son spent the whole vacation missing his new girlfriend and wishing he was back home. :hammer: Good news is my wife and I are looking at maybe trying to head back to WDW next fall sometime, just the two of us this time! Celebrate our "20th" a year and a half later FINALLY!!! :p

I have been going every year since 1981. At first it was just once a year but now its at least 4 trips a year and I could do more. I don't think it will ever get old and I will continue to go until I can no longer make the trip.
Wow to your signature !!:eek::sohappy:
