When does Disney mail marathon info?

My husband and I have signed up for the 2011 marathon. It will be our first marathon and we are very excited (and nervous)! I was curious about when Disney's mails out the marathon packet with all the info about the event?

I will be running the 1/2 marathon in 2011...I thought I read somewhere on the ESPN zone site that the info would be mailed out in October, but I am not certain of that. Check on the main ESPN zone site to confirm.

Oh, and I also just read that the "personalized race number pick-up card/waiver form" that we bring with us to the Expo will be available online in December.

Disney doesn't send anything out by mail any longer. Everything is done online now. You will get an email about downloading your waiver which will have your bib numbers on them. There will also be a link to an online version of the marathon weekend guide, which you will get in your packet at packet pickup.
They will send you peroidic email updates about all of the events going on that weekend. It is a very energetic and fun weekend!

Yep. No more mailings. There will be a link on the Wide World of Sports website to download the waiver. The November or Decmeber newsletter will have the link to the digital version of the race program. You'll get everything else at the Milkhouse and in your goody bag at the Expo.
