When do the Monorails start running?

I'm taking my kids to the Crystal palace on the 19th and to Cindy's on the 20th. In both cases our PS is for well before the park opens. How early do the Monorails start to run? I'm guessing we will need to be at the entrance of the park about 7:45 on both occasions for us to make our 8:00 seatings. I'm guessing will need to be on a monorail by about 7:30 each morning. Will the monorail be running that early or will we need to find another method to get to our breakfasts? Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe the MK resort monorails start running around 7 AM. We were there last month and took the WDW Steam Train tour, which started at 7:30. We took a cab from POR to the Transportation and Ticket Center and boarded the resort monorail around 7:10. The monorail sat at the Poly for 10 minutes and the GF for another 5. We just made it in time for the tour. Please allow enough time if the attendant at the TTC tells you to take the resort monorail to the MK.

I've never been on one of the resort monorails. I'm going to guess that there are signs at the TTC that direct you to those that i have never noticed before. Would that be correct?

That is correct. There are three monorail lines at the TTC, the express to Magic Kingdom, Resort, and EPCOT. Each one is marked with a sign. When we arrived at the gate to the TTC, a CM asked as to where we need to go. We told him that we are taking the steam train tour. He directed us to take the resort monorail as that the express monorail was not running yet.

You can always park at the Contemporary (just say you are eating breakfast there), and then walk to the MK. There is a path, and it is a real quick walk, no more then 5-10 minutes.

I heard that you can't do that. If you say you are eating at a resort they will give you soem sort of ticket that will allow you to park there for a few hours but that is it. That is what I heard anyway. It sounds liek the resort monorail is the way to go. Thanks for the help.
