When did Jungle Cruise start combining the stand up routine?

Kind of off-topic. I wish they could make the sound of the motors a bit lower, The 2 times i want i cant really hear the skipper, maybe they should also put the speakers louder!

One of my pet peeves is poor mic technique from skippers. They're either too far away from the mic or they're way too close. In the first case you can't hear them, while in the 2nd they're so distorted that you can't understand what's being said.

I worked Jungle from 1975-1977. There was already a heavy emphasis on comedy and groan-inducing puns. (Not to be immodest but I was considered one of the best spielers. You could always tell when the tour guides would specifically ask for your boat). I even cracked up Dick Nunis (lol). And yes, I can still do the complete spiel today - it never goes away.
