Happy to hear you had a great time! Early December shouldn't be that bad, personnally I start planning as soon as I get back from my last WDW trip! You can already start thinking about what hotel to choose, how long to stay, which parks and attractions to visit, which restaurants you want to try or experience again, ways to save money for your trip...Never to early to start planning and dreaming!:)

Glad you had a great time! It's never too early to start the preliminary planning, I usually get into the hardcore stuff around a year out. We booked our resort for our trip during Thanksgiving week at POFQ in February, about 9 months out. That's one of the busiest weeks of the year, and we had no problem securing the resort we wanted. Happy planning! You're hooked now!

I usually start a year out as well. But I am always looking on forums and on the Disney website daydreaming about my next trip, so I guess the planning never actually stops for me.
Early December can be a fun time! The decorations are beautiful but kids are still in school, and because it is in Florida it isn't too hot or too cold at that time.

Wow i should count the days then! Thanks!
The first couple of weeks in December usually range from very low to moderate in crowd levels. Around 2-1/2 weeks into Dec. the crowd levels increase quickly. For a December trip, I would definitely plan a trip in those time slots before schools here begin Christmas breaks.
Again, daytime and nighttime temperatures are unpredictable. I went to a MVMCP once when it was 32F in Magic Kingdom!

we too are from Europe, and go to wdw each feb. usually we will have booked all our Disney hotels the week we return home as it helps get over the depression of having to go home. we book direct with Disney and normally get a slightly better rate than on the uk website and actually talking to a cast member is so much easier.as for a Christmassy trip we did this a few years back, staying the first 2 weeks in December. everywhere is decorated and beautiful, the crowds weren't to busy but it was a major bummer having to leave after that trip. I would highly recommend jumping off at the grand Floridian and seeing the gingerbread house
