Wheelchair-Friendly Transportation

Hello all! It's been a long, long time since I posted, but I seem to be hitting a brick wall with the following inquiry: wheelchair-friendly transportation from the dock to Atlantis, Bahamas?

I spoke with a DCL rep and she said that the guest must be somewhat mobile to use their transportation to Atlantis. Well, this guest depends solely on her ECV. Her ECV is completely collapsible and can fit inside the trunk of a sedan, and her husband is willing to lift her into the vehicle.

Any recommendations or experience with transportation options? There's 4 in their family: 2 adults, 2 children, and they'd like to stick together.

TIA!

This is the company that I recommend to my own clients:

www.accessibletravelsolutions.com

However, if you want some additional options, I contacted the Bahamas Tourism Board and they gave me two possibilities:

http://www.bahamas.com/vendor/courteous-transfers-tours

http://www.majestictoursbahamas.com/transportation/

I can NOT vouch for either of these companies. This is simply a starting point for your research. Hope you find something that works for you.
I did contact Majestic Tours Bahamas and their rates were 1/2 the price that Accessible Travel Solutions quoted. I'm just leery about using a company I've never personalized used, nor have my colleagues.

Thank you for the suggestion!
