What's Your Ride Limit?

I call it Primeval Hurl. I hate that ride and anything that spins makes me sick. Dumbo, Aladdin, astro and so on. I can do coasters and free falls though.

The first time I rode it I came off of it and looked at my daughter and said that I was never getting back on those "Demented Flying Puke Pots" She cracked up and almost wet herself. To this day that name has stuck for us and it really fits the ride. I do however ride it at least once per trip with my daughter since my wife will not.

Are you a daredevil when you go to WDW? I am, I'll go on any ride. I love Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, Tower of Terror, well you get it.

I go to other amusement parks with big coasters. I don't go on all of them. Nothing at WDW comes close to "too much" for me. I think RNR is kind of tame, honestly.
But those damn tea cups are hell. Something about getting older, but I just can't take the spinning these days without becoming nauseous!
Oh, and I have never tried orange mission space. Once someone drops dead, I tend to avoid it..lol
Actually, none of us think the ride is "great", my son likes it, but I would never let him try the orange, too much pressure on a kid, so we go sometimes on the green with him.

I have always LOVED thrill rides... I went on TOT probably 10 times the last time I went but I was only a kid, must've been 15 years ago. Now my 28 year old self is a little scared of the tea cups since I don't really like being dizzy anymore. I do plan on riding everything when I go next May. My 5 year old talks a good game and THINKS she will ride TOT with me but that remains to be seen. If my 4 year old makes it to 40 inches in time (he's 38 1/2 now), I think he will be an awesome ride partner for Splash and BTMRR.

The funny thing is, my thrill riding coaster lover kid won't do tot, but it's the preshow and theming! He's not into anything scary, so he made it through the preshow (barely), but once he saw the inside theming, he made me take him out...twice. Last time he was 9..this time he will be 10, tells me he refuses to even try.

That's what I am afraid of, lol. I think that she will get psyched out in line. I have had her watch youtube videos and explained to her that they try to scare you but everything will be ok. Hopefully that will help.

Ill ride everthing except for Its a Small World, I really just cannot take it. My favorites at each park are as follows: MK (I have two) BTMR at night, and Peter Pan, EPCOT: Soarin, DHS: ToT, AK: EE

There is nothing at Disney that I don't ride. They don't exactly have actual thrill rides. Their thrill rides are designed to be ridden by all but the biggest scaredy-cat adults.

I have gotten motion sickness on three rides:
1. Mission: Space, where I ignored the instructions against putting your head to the side
2. Forbidden Journey at IOA, when I went on twice in a row with no wait
3. The Seas With Nemo and Friends, which I will never go back on

I can't not do spinning rides...well...dumbo and the carpets are ok, but the teacups are a no go. I can't ride the People Mover backwards or I start feeling fuzzy.

Nothing overly bouncy unless it has a pull down bar!

Given we had just had breakfast we should have taken him more seriously and not rode it first thing in the morning which led to everyone else in my family throwing up and spending a day back at the hotel. Tried it once since then and I can safely say I won't be doing so again.

At the time he had practically the entire bus laughing, I think everyone thought he was exaggerating for effect. I'd heard it was an intense ride but didn't think it was so much so that it stunk of stale sick. If I had seen him again I would have thanked him, he taught me to take Disney bus drivers' advice seriously.

OK, I suppose it's possible but I have been on it more times then I can count and have never once noticed the "stink of stale sick", whatever that is. Never even seen anyone get sick or noticed any of the other modules that had a problem. Maybe I'm just incredibly lucky or, as I said, the power, or in this case odor, of suggestion is very strong.

No Mission Space, ever, which kind of bums me out but it's just not worth it to me. Also the tea cups, like many other posters. My husband is the worst person on earth to be on the teacups with, too. He spins them as hard as he can the entire time. Awful!

I am of the opinion that WDW does not have any rides that are of a high thrill factor. I do, however, enjoy raising my arms and shouting a little "woo" on the TTA at the point where it speeds up slightly at the beginning. It's just my little way of confirming that I'm still a dork.

I think you will find quite a few people around these parts that do that, myself included.

I'm fine with everything. The one ride I dislike is Primeval Whirl, but mostly for comfort issues not because of the thrill (it hurts my shoulder where the bar is)

I still find Space Mountain the most thrilling because I still don't know where all the drops and turns are. I guess the same for Tower of Terror.

Disney is the one place I go on everything

I can't do Mission Space, especially the Orange. Not bc I get sick but I hate being trapped in really closed in spaces and the spinning makes it even harder to move. I got a little panicky on it the one time I rode it. Love all the roller coasters though.
