What's your reason?

Okay so, ever since I was little I have enjoyed Disney and as I became older, that enjoyment turned into a passion, and huge interest. I love Disney. I love the parks and I love learning about the history behind Walt and his creation. Disney for me is my life's greatest love outside of my fiance and my family :p but they all accept that Disney does have a piece of my heart. I'm enthralled with everything about it. I guess it started when I lost a loved one when I was very young and Disney was our "happy place" And, it has continued to be a place for the greatest memories of my life including my engagement. :D

What are some of your reasons that you all have so much Disney love?

As soon as I step onto the property I am at peace. I don't have a care in the world, there's no pressure of any kind. I can spend every second of my time with my family and enjoy myself. There's no other place for me. :sohappy: I'll be in love with Disney forever.

Can't escape reality in very many places anymore...Disney is one of them.

It just makes me happy to be there...so happy that I told my wife that when I die, I want some of my ashes secretly dumped into the Seven Seas Lagoon (I don't care if I become fish food). Can't think of a better place to be laid to rest!

At first it was the wow factor many years ago, especially from early 90s Epcot. Now it's that feeling of escape and not having a care in the world. Can't wait to take our granddaughters on their first trip in a few short years.

It's my escape from the "real world". I'll deal with how much it costs me to be there when the vacation is over and I'm back in the "real world"!

I love that I can take a deep breath, relax, and inhale the Disney Magic. You feel the stress of the real world float away. I am happy content and amazed at the magic all around me. :) There is nothing unfixable and no ceiling on your imagination. You walk into the past or the future and all of it makes your present state of mind that much more beautiful!

It's a very special Place

I have always had a love for Disney- My favorite Uncle took me there for the first time in 2nd grade and I have never been the same! As I type this it brings tears to my eyes thinking about all the special things that have happened to me at the most magical place in the world. They are tears of joy. There is no where that I would rather be then sitting somewhere at Disney. I remember my husband and I went over ten years ago for the first time- he had only been there once before and lucky for me he fell in love with it just like I did! My Uncle was with us many trips and taught us everything he knew about Disney. My husband and him had some very specials times there- They even went on a man’s trip without me, two months after the trip my uncle passed away- there is not a Disney Trip that we don’t talk about him and all he taught us about the wonderful place. Disney was the place where we got engaged, where we honeymooned, “Promise” was our first dance at our wedding, where we fall in love all over again and relax with each other and share very special moments. We will welcome our latest moment in a couple of weeks- Disney has given us our own “souvenir”. I guess you can say that what happens in Disney doesn’t always stay in Disney. We are very lucky to share this passion together- not many people understand it but those true Disney lovers get it. You don’t have to understand- it’s a love for something that is found deep in our hearts. I look forward to taking our children there in the future and share in the magic.
