What's your favorite ship and why?

3. Fantasy
4. Wish

I love the size and layout on the Wonder, also love that so many of the lounges and inside spaces have amazing views. I also seem to have a thing for New Orleans architecture (despite never visiting) because my favorite resort is POFQ and my favorite place on the Wonder is the French Quarter Lounge. We both love the spas on the Dream and Fantasy, again in large part because of the views. We also love the slides on the Dream and Fantasy. The Wish is very pretty but a lot of the areas, like the spa and main lounge, are in the middle of the ship where you can’t see out, even the slide is mostly inclosed, a very strange design choice, if we’re cruising we want to see the water.

Wish is simply more spectacular, more disney and has more to do. Its magical.

The fantasy is more just an ordinary old cruise ship with disney characters on it. Its a bit boring.

My sample size is small as I have only been on one cruise. I really enjoyed the Wish but I would like to see how the Dream and Fantasy are. I almost booked a cruise on one of those but we picked the Destiny for our next cruise instead. I’m not sure if I would want to go on the Magic or Wonder.

This is such a hard question. I love the Magic. My family has sailed on the Magic 12 times, including cruises to Canada, to the Med, to the Baltic, and to Iceland. The Magic is just sort of "home" for us.

Having said that, I really love the Dream. We've done a couple back-to-backs on the Dream and have loved it every time. Having said that, the Fantasy is the same layout and does 7 nights, as opposed to 3/4 nights. So does that make the Fantasy better? I did NOT like the layout of O'Gills on the Fantasy. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but it seemed very cramped to me, without a lot of seats that were great for seeing the tv screen. But I did like the rest of the theming of the Piazza (complete with Vespa) on the Fantasy better than The District on the Dream.

I have not sailed on the Wish. I've toured it, though. And I like what I saw, for the most part. I don't love that every stateroom has a theme to it. I understand that kids might like it, but I prefer the more nautical feel of the Magic/Wonder staterooms.

I've heard very good things about the Treasure, and I'm looking forward to sailing on it. Just not sure when that will be.

So what's my preference order??? Today, I think this is my list. . .

1) Dream
2) Fantasy
3) Magic
4) Wonder
5) Wish

It really pains me to put the Magic in third place. So tomorrow, my list may be different.

I'm not (yet) a DLC guy so I have no right to voice an opinion here, but I'm sure passionate about the business and watch a lot of Bright Sun Travel reviews lol, so here's what I've gathered from a lot of YouTube and Google research:

1) Fantasy (modern ship design yet follows the core design principles of the excellent original fleet).
2) Magic (the OG, you almost can't beat it, and the innovator of Disney's amazing unique cruise experience).
3) Dream (sister to the Fantasy, it therefore has to be good).
4) Wonder (if Rebecca Coriam didn't 'magically' disappear aboard I'd maybe be less scared of it...).
5) Treasure (saved only by it's Parks-inspired bars and slight improvements from the Wish).
6) Wish (truly a failure on all levels (watch BST's YouTube review on it, you won't believe it)).
7) OLC's Triton-class ship (it may be Triton-class (Wish-Class) but OLC can save anything (hopefully)).
8) All future Triton-class ships lol!

We're not ranking islands but I hear Castaway Cay is much better than its younger twin Lookout Cay, even though I appreciate its original non-IP character integration in places.

As for itineraries this is truly personal preference and hard for me to rank in any vaguely objective way, but Alaskan itineraries sounds enchanting and exciting, as a European those cruises sound only mildly interesting to me but they have good destinations and I'm sure Americans would really love them, and of course Caribbean cruises are maybe the greatest way to go.
