What's Your Favorite Resting Area in the Magic Kingdom?

I like the upstairs seating area of Columbia Harbour House. It's divided up into separate rooms, and the one I like the best has the window view of the pathway, that leads into Liberty Square. If you have lunch or dinner at off-peak times, it's fairly quiet and pleasant up on that 2nd level.

That's my favorite MK spot. Get an early lunch, grab a table on the 'bridge' and people watch.

I rather enjoy the area around Rapunzel's tower. It's a bit like being at a Renaissance faire, with a few welcome exceptions:
  • toilets that flush
  • water fountains
  • clean places to sit and get out of the traffic flow
  • music that is period-correct or a very good facsimile thereof ("Freebird" on lute sounds better as an idea than when it's tried)
  • virtually no one trying to use a really terrible fake British accent
  • anyone throwing up is usually still in diapers, or at least under adult supervision
  • a merciful lack of chain-mail bikinis, bad kilts, and any other attempt at being 16th Century "edgy"

Our family's favorite place to rest has always been near the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade Gallery. It is especially nice if you can reserve a rocking chair typically located to the right side of the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade Gallery, as you have the added benefit of being in the shade. Where do your families prefer to rest in the Magic Kingdom?

if the park is that empty god i love everywhere....off season early in morning i will go sit on a bench more or less anywhere and just soak it up!

In the Parks
No
Peoplemover and any bench in Tomorrowland.

CofP too. I unfortunately suffer from migraines, and if I happen to get one while in the parks (doesn't happen very often, but it can), that's what I call one of my designated migraine spots because I can go in, it's dark, and I can close my eyes and just listen to the show. American Adventure in Epcot is my other designated migraine spot.

Not sure that I have a specific area, but I find a ride on the WDWRR or on the Liberty Belle to be quite relaxing. Oh and almost forgot the Transit Authority (very relaxing).
