what's wrong with Epcot

The problem is you can see EPCOT slipping each year until it will become an ordinary amusement park.
The hope is Disney will balance rides with the original theme of EPCOT and bring it to something special again.

The negativity does not bother me because it only shows how everyone cares.

I know I say this allot but Journey into your Imagination was one of the rides that they dumbed down and they lost their attendance. The living seas appearance makes mu want to :hurl: but it still has a great aquarium. The only thing I notice missing is the Hydrolators and I do miss the old colors. The greenhouses are a bit outdated but they are still fascinating to me. The last time I went on the films were from the 80's. Everyones going to miss Horizons but space is the next horizon so I guess that was a sensible change. This world is a different place now. We are behind computer screens and playing video games and visiting crappy amusement parks. Things like Epcot Center dont catch allot of people these days. I know I enjoyed the park and found the old attractions very mesmerizing and none of the rides are anymore. Reflections of earth is great and wish we could say the same about the dark rides. I know I fear the day Reflections of earth is changed.

The green houses are far from outdated.

Nemo was the cheap and easy way out of fixing the problem and the ride does nothing to add to or even have anything to do with FW.

Neither does Imagination. It's been there from the start and never really belonged in Future World.

Again, a simple name change of FW would solve a lot of these weird issues.

If you think of the original Future World as a series of museums (communication, transportation, energy, oceanic, etc), the Imagination pavilion serves as the art museum.

And if you want to strech a little we don't have the tech to build a ship to travel into the Imagination yet :D

Or, if you think of it as a theme park, which is what it is, you might not be so disappointed when they tear down your "museums".

Imagination is about the mind, not art. But lately not much has been going on in the "mind."

I agree with RoRo. While the Epcot of the past was a great park, the modern one isn't incredibly bad, and it will always remain my favorite park, but WDI could possibly think something up to change that :p

Your right in a way but they should have stopped at 94. The downgrades are what get me. Spaceship Earth and Imagination have a bad deal in my opinion.

I personally love EPCOT. It is my favorite park. Soarin' is my all time favorite ride at Disney. I think Test Track is great too. For me, however, the best part of EPCOT is going through the countries and sampling their food and wine and culture etc.

I always look forward to having a wine tasting in Italy and in letting my kids go to the candy store in Germany. I love the shops in Japan, Morocco, and England. there is always something fun going on there.

I don't love the Nemo ride or the Mexico ride, but love everything else!
