A quick run down of upcoming uses for the shuttered pavillion...

Aug 30/31 the pavillion is holding a WDW Cast "jobfair" of sorts with seminars and infromational sessions about how to become middle management.

Then, the Food/Wine festival fun starts.

Oct 15, 22, 23, and Nov 11th the VIP area hosts Epcot Wine schools. $125 per person.

10/28 is the "Exquisite Evening" with the theme of "Bordeaux - French Fatale" which at $185 a person ought to be yummy.

So, if you want inside you can either get a job with the mouse, or shell out some cash and be sure to call for ressies bright and early on July 25th to 407-WDW-FEST.

What's up with management?

I heard one guest at Future World East comment on how there was nothing to eat on that side. Well, there would be a nice area with ice cream and sandwiches in Wonders had they not closed it.

Oh well. Maybe I'll apply to Disney for the month of August. (Tell me Cranium Command will be open during these events, and I might take it seriously... ;) )

So what's going on with it in September? Will Body Wars or anything be open?
I doubt it. The pavilion's was closed on the Fourth of July holiday...so I can't see it opening up anytime until perhaps Thanksgiving or Christmas. That is, if its reopening would be the result of crowds.

Hey gang,

Wonders is closed for one reason only: Attendance, Attendance, Attendance. If the attendance went up much higher than it would re-open. Plus there is no sponsor. It would reopen then too. What it needs most is sponsorship. Back in 2002, imagineering had a plan to remodel the pavilion into "Adventures in Life" which would change the theme into a board game feel, kinda like Innoventions but with a game of life type feel. The simulator was actually going to be reimagineered to be the RC car from Toy Story. However, the idea was put into hiatus as they still need sponsorship.

Also, when Horizons was going through its periodic closures, it was only open when other attractions were closed (UoE, then WoM).....then it was gone. WoL last year was probably only open since FR was closed.....but now that Soarin is open, it is not needed (until the next pavilion goes down for rehab)

When it was open last Christmas, it was dead......BW had no wait, and most rides were given to 10 or less people. CC was typically only about 1/3 full....
