What's the Next E-Ticket Ride???

Busch Gardens can pull off because they have laid the park out so that the animals are nowhere near the rollercoasters. If you look at it the thrill rides are all a good distance away from any of the animal attractions. That's one of the minor problems with AK... they have animals all over the place, in each section of the park. The only concievable areas for a coaster would be Dinoland-USA, and the side of Camp Minnie-Mickey that is closest to the parking lot. The savahna takes up the rest of the area and building a coaster in that area wouldn'b be too kind to the animals. Dinoland is the most crowded part of the park, the last thing they need is another E-Ticket, and Camp Minnie-Mickey isnt exactly where I would put a big coaster.

Thanks for the info Kicker. I have'nt done BG yet, but I might in Jan, we'll see. If Disney ever puts a coaster in AK, I would expect it to be part of a new land, whether the new land is BK, which I doubt, or Austrailia or whatever. Would the new land go in behind Camp MM, or somewhere else? If they did do BK, with just mythical beasts, is there enough room to put a BIG LOUD roller coaster without disturbing the animals? I'm full of questions lately. I'm not usually like this, but I'm getting more and more excited as we get closer to our trip. My ex says I'm full of something else, but that's a story for a different day. Ah....the memories.:animwink:

Cheers:wave:

Actually i really don't mind where the next E-Ticket goes... I think it will probably goto Animal Kingdom, And i really doubt that it will be a coaster too. Though i'd love to see a coaster as much as you all would. I hope that beastly Kingdom gets built so that this fire mountain ride may actually happen.

I would though love to see a space mountain replacement with new cars, new track, inversions and a launch.

Anything is anyones guess.

Though to the indy idea... This may work to as many of you have heard that a new indy movie is to be made. But it wont be soon. Guesses are that it wont be made from 2006-2010! cus mr spielberg and mr ford are quite buisy at the mo. So we may see a new indy ride being made they may even be planning it now to relate with the opening of the new movie...

It's suppose to go in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom and be along the lines of Big Thunder... only with a slightly more cohesive story-line (what that would be I don't know). I'm thinking a nice combination between Big Thunder and DisneyLand's Matterhorn. It is also suppose to be the biggest mountain in the WDW Mountain range if it is built.

My knowledge of this is rather limited so if anybody else has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't want to sound like I'm giving you an argument:D , but do you really think they would build a mountain outside of the Magic Kingdom? I always thought of the mountains as a sort of Magic Kingdom gimmic. Does anybody else have any thoughts on that?

And I think Beastly Kingdom should be the next big thing. It just bugs me that the dragon is still in the middle of the logo even though there are no dragons in the park.

Well thank you cymbaldiva i thought i should disneyfy it so there u go...

N e way back onto the e-ticket thing Herbie does have a point though isn't it weird that only the magic kingdom has all those mountains...

I also thought that fire mountain was a possibility... now everyone seems to have gone off that idea.

What about bald mountain? i can remember reading about that.

In these days of PC I think Disney would be too scared to use the title for fear of being sued by the folocally (?) challenged.

First off I would like to state up front that I do like rollercoasters but NOT the mega-coasters, only the themed ones like BTMRR, RnRC. Its not right to have a coaster just like whats down the road at BG or IOA. thats what is unique about Disney, there fans that complain about the pre-show and such at WDW because all they want is to skip all the details and just get the adrenaline rush, there are places for that down the road as well.

A strong candidate for an addition to either EPCOT or Tomorrowland is Stormrider from TDS. in this case the guests are being sent out to observe an approaching category 5+ (the worst) hurricane approaching WDW and then find themselves caught up in it and then somehow (Disney magic) makes the storm subside (cloud seeding?)
As for an attraction at DAK an undergrong mine such as the diamond mines in Africa would be a good idea, many of the special effects can be also copied from the 20K ride at TDS of underground boring machines and such, throw in an erupting volcano, cave ins, have the cars exit through lava tubes etc, etc.

I would like to see the next E-Ticket be something more like the classic Disney E-Tickets that the entire family can enjoy together.

When I was a kid (5 years old or so), going to the Magic Kingdom, I was able to ride ALL of the E-Tickets (Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, 20k Leagues, etc)... None of these attractions had hight requirements allowing the entire family to enjoy them together. Heck, that was the main reason Disneyland was built in the first place.

I do enjoy some thrill rides and they have been a part of Disneyland since Walt built The Matterhorn, but balance is the key. Not every E-Ticket has to be a thrill ride and I really hope Disney starts to build non-thrill E-Tickets again.. $.02

Oh I agree about a Mountain outside the Magic Kingdom... but if it will get more people in Animal Kingdom I guess I will have little qualms. Just the name 'Mountain' will pull people in because of all the connotation a Disney mountain has.

And about the dragon in the logo... in the One Man's Dream when they have the little thing for Animal Kingdom, the dragon is not in the logo. That might be some unfortunate foreshadowing.....
