just posted this on the horror movie thread. watched a quiet place day 1. pretty good for a prequel with good performances. my wife wussed out so i went by myself

Went in saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind in a theater over the weekend. I have always loved this movie and it still holds up on the big screen, the special effects are still stunning. This movie really demonstrates Spielberg's brilliance as a film maker.

mission impossible dead reckoning part 1. i think the series has gotten better starting with ghost protocol, & they’ve gotten crazier with each new installment. very good movie.
