What's the best way to travel from

Fort Wilderness campsites to MK and AK?? I heard of a boat ride I think? Not sure. How long would you say it takes to get from MK to the campsite?? TIA!!

There's a direct boat to MK and busses to AK.

Take the boat. It's nice and relaxing and drops you off right in front of the park.

From your campsite go to the marina and get the launch to MK, it is fast and relaxing.

In FW there are internal buses that go loop tp loop, to the marina and outpost areas, store etc...to get to AK, take an internal bus to the outpost area designated to the buses that go to AK. I can't remember if the bus for AK leaves from the marina area outpost or the registration area outpost (they are about a mile and half apart), sorry. It is as simple as calling the front desk and asking or reading the signs at the bus stops.

The bus to AK leave from the registration area at FW. The boat ride from FW to MK is very relaxing, but I noticed last time they had taken the shoes off the tree. Bummer!!!

Great, Does it take long either way? I've got two little ones and wondering if it'd be better to drive to the parks or not?? Thanks!

It's usually good to avoid driving to Magic Kingdom because after you park your car you then need to take a tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center and from there you need to take a ferry or monorail to Magic Kingdom. But if you take the boat from FW to MK, it docks right there in front of the MK entrance.
