So just been thinking we always take around £1000 for our 2 week WDW vacation, we stay on site with dining plan and park tickets already bought, so I was thinking how much does everyone else take or do you just use credit cards and worry about the cost later?

What do people spend most of their money on, if I might ask? Just curious! I have my Dining Plan, and it's my first trip, and I have heard so much from my boyfriend (who has been 9 times and whom I am going with) about all kinds of shops like a Christmas one, and Marvel and Star Wars... just wondering what people spend most of their budget on(:

Don't forget gratuities are not included on the dining plan - a portion of our budget always goes towards that.

Last time we did an 8 day trip and brought $3,000 USD. ...came home with about half of it because we figured out how easy it was to use our Magic Bands. ...dangerous buggers those. =)

Tips, gifts for my family and me, Christmas gifts for everyone back home, possible spontaneous trip to universal studios or seaworld, usually end up buying food at MCO, possible big breakfast last day at resort paying out of pocket

One Little Spark...
I go with 2.5k in "fun money" for various things (tips, shopping, shows, extra activities)...that's a bit more than $100 a day for most of my trips, cause they are long.

We haven't even come close to using that since 2011. Well, except maybe on the cruise in 2013 if you include the excursion costs and I tipped my stateroom attendant quite well. But even then we didn't crack $2k, and that included all that and a trip to legoland (and some rather expensive lego sets).

We just don't buy much in the way of Disney Merch anymore...it doesn't change out enough to be interesting.

Ok... I am going for... 14 days... and will have Universal Tickets already paid off, and possibly the Halloween Party Night there too, as well as MNSSHP in WDW, and that leaves money for the TIPS, shopping and outlets... so, I'll try bring a lil extra!
