With December rapidly coming to a close and 2009 right around the corner, what is on your WDW attraction/show wish list for next year? Be creative, may be something rumored here or something entirely new.

Mine: Announcement of new Sorin' Movie, Refurb of the GMR, Announcement of Australia as the new "land" at AK.

What's yours?

Here's my rundown in parks & the rest of the resort I'd like to see....

Epcot
Renaming the park back to EPCOT Center
Dreamfinder returns to Imagination
New Logo's for FW Pavillions
Weather pavillion for former WOL
Removing the pointless mesh canopy and twirling objects that are in Innoventions Plaza

MK
Tommorowland
Stitch goes bye bye..I don't care what's put in the Interplanetary Convention Center..But something Alot better than that.

TTA Refurbishment - New Spiel with the additions of the newer attrations more signs to make it look like an Elevated railway and MORE In the Tunnels.

Toontown fair expansion - Addition of CarToon Spin, A House of Mouse Character dining experience

Frontierland
Golden Horseshoe Opens for Entertainment again
Country Bears bring back Vacation Hoedown & Holiday show

AK
Beastly Kingdome - Everyone wants this one

DHS
One thing this park lacks....A water ride..I suggest a Indiana Jones Dark Ride/Shoot the Shutes.

A stunt ride attraction that uses Catastrophy Canyon for the finale.

Remove Narnia and place the 234 Mickey Mouse Plane into One Man's Dream exhibit.

Magic Kingdom
  • Replace Stitch's Great Escape with something original and not based on cartoon characters (or just bring back Alien Encounter).
  • Relocate the Laugh Floor to the Pixar area at DHS or just remove it totally. Replace it with something that carries out the theme of Tomorrowland and isn't based on cartoon characters.
  • Refurbish the Carousel of Progress and include the newest animatronic technology.
  • Give the Tomorrowland Speedway a new theme, perhaps something along the lines of an intergalactic highway with billboards and signs advertising different things in Tomorrowland. Several different types of ride vehicles could be used.
Epcot
  • Redo the Wonders of Life but keep the health theme.
  • Open a new attraction in World Showcase or an entirely new pavilion.
Disney's Hollywood Studios
  • Refurbish the Great Movie Ride (update all the animatronics with the newest technology, add a few new effects, and replace two or three scenes with entirely new ones).
Disney's Animal Kingdom
  • Get all broken effects in existing attractions fixed.
  • Replace Camp Minnie-Mickey with an entirely new, original, and cartoon character-free area based on mythical animals.
  • Reopen the Discovery River Boats with new effects and show scenes added for the mythical animals area.

Announce something solid about the SM refurb
Bring back Pirates and Princess parties or similar
Announcement of a new E-Ticket

EP:
A proper refurb for Ellens Energy Adventure (unlikely really) and Nemo
Addition of an attraction in Japan

AK:
A proper refurb for EE and Dinosaur
An announcement for future development / expansion

DHS:
Refurb / removal of sounds dangerous
Fantasmic to go full time again (with the new projectors seen at DL)
Almost a complete overhall to give a 'your walking through movie sets' feel which IMO just doesn't exist right now.
Expand pixar place, but try and keep it based on movie production etc.


I think these are pretty fair requests - especially as most of them are just refurbs.

Have a time machine transit spot that will take you back to 1980's Walt Disney World.

Thats all I ask :)

Replacement for SGE
A huge refurb for Space Mountain announced (DL calliber)
A bit of a refurb for TTA
Put Stitch in the tiki room
Announcement for 20k area attraction(s) I'd prefer a beauty and the beast ride, and extension of Toon Town.

Epcot:
New Soarin' film
refurb of Energy
Imaginaton redo

DHS:
Replace Indy stunt show with Indy ride like at DL
Star Tours 2.0 (for the love of god, just do it already!!!!)
refurb of GMR
Add new SFX encounters to backlot tour, and just make it more exciting
Expand Pixar place

AK:
Expansion of kali river rapids
refurbs for EE and Dinosaur
Announcement for new land(s) (either beastly kingdom or Australia)

Most of this is in the realm of "Never"land but a woman can hope:
Magic Kingdom
- Main Street Electrical Parade!
- New animatronics for Pirates of the Carribean.
- Update the TTA narration

EPCOT
- New (old) narration for Space Ship earth. I love Dame Judi Dench to bits, but SSE needs a male voice.
- Bring in a new stage show to feature the main fountain.
- Rides for other World Showcase pavilions.
Hollywood Studios
- Update the Indiana Jones show (or replace it with an Indy ride).
- TOTAL refurbishment/update of the Great Movie Ride.
- New Star Tours

Animal Kingdom
- Beastly Kingdom/mythical land addition.
- Update of the overall theme. (They did such an beautiful job in the beginning.)

Global/Any park/Property wide
- Kingdom Hearts ... anything.
- Roger Rabbit ... anything.
- Nightmare Before Christmas dark ride.
- Villains land.
- Reopen/relocate the Adventures Club.
- An adult night-time party, 21 and over only. (Like GradNite for adults.)
- More use of the head animatronics.
- Expand Monorail or implement of a similar transportation system.

The return of the original Tiki Room
A walk through of the Castle similar to the one in Disneyland. Except with Cinderella, of course.
More characters walking around. (For all parks, really)
Make the drops on POTC a bit more intense.


Epcot

MAJOR refurb of Spaceship earth. Maybe even an entirely different ride.
A WALL-E themed high speed rollercoaster with loops and giant drops. It could incorporate EPCOT's lessons in space and technology.


Disney Hollywood Studios

No more HSM!
Bring the Indiana Jones ride to WDW
Expansion of the GMR - keep the old (although maybe update it a bit), but add some new as well. Maybe an Enchanted section? =D
Have your reenactment of Pearl Harbor available for purchase.
A show featuring famous song and dance numbers and scenes from classic and/or popular movies. New and old.

Animal Kingdom

More rides like Everest! Not neccessarily a coaster, but something just as exciting!

Bring back the good ole rides...Horizons, World of Transportation, Captain EO...etc. I honestly don't care, I am just thankful to be able to come and enjoy it all! :lol:

It was for the Millenium Celebration..There were talks awhile ago of them being removed during the "Thing that was on SE that we do not speak of".:lookaroun

That's the PERFECT EPCOT.:D
