Yeah...I know...you havn't heard of HALF those bands...

Actually, Now, I bought Skinny Puppy's "Bites," "Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse," and "Dig It" 12" on vinyl as new releases... (I told you all I was old). Of course, you can imagine my students saw me in a new light when they heard this....

And I gave the records to my friend when he moved to Hawaii...

And to further another myth...Front242 got the 242 in their name because thast the mile-marker # on the Florida turnpike for Disney World.

Tink - you like Heavenly? Thats so cool!
I saw them loads of times when they were together, and I "think" I have everything they ever released.
Have you ever listened to Talulah Gosh (pre) or Marine Research (post)? All good stuff.
Probably my bestest favouritist band, ever!

Uh...Hi...! I'm kinda new here...really like the site, though...really good information...interesting characters...

This morning (at home, before leaving for work), I listened to "The Legacy of Disney" (Disc 1 of 3). It is a compilation of music from 1928 to 1994 (I am told a collectors edition - if I don't listen to it...yeah...right...!:veryconfu).

This past weekend, I listened to "The Lion King" soundtrack about 3 times...

Can you tell I just got back from my WDW vacation and I am trying to hang on to the wonderful memories as long as I can...??

Cheers!

Kevin

Kevin-

Welcome! :)

Yes, we certainly do have quite a cast of characters....

I think you might be our first Quebec native to camp out (I could be mistaken...). We do love Disney here.... so pull up a chair, make yourself comfortable, have another mug of whatever you're drinking (Marky will be by to refill your glass ;) )....

And, of course, please consider becoming a "premium" member to help keep the site going. :)

Mark! I don't like Heavenly - I love Heavenly! :sohappy:

When we were in London earlier this year, we searched high and low for anything Heavenly...I haven't listened to either of the other bands you mentioned but I've heard of Marine Research. Now we've got something else to listen to and look for! :p
