Awesome reply, Woody13.

Perhaps that's also why PotC doesn't have two drops as in Disneyland; everyone knows that the tunnels in the MK are actually used to store missiles for the US. Hey, maybe the ugly arm and wand are actually on SE to prevent the fighter jets that will be stored in the Soarin' hanger from crashing into the geosphere. And the ridiculous sparkles reflect satellite signals for national security; heck, maybe even the solar panels on Universe of Energy are really for that purpose. This is why Wonders of Life is closed: Body Wars is used to train the fighter jet pilots (M:S made them puke too much) and the rest of the pavilion is a huge laboratory to combat biological weapons.

...you know, the sad part is that I had a professor who really believed in the "Missiles under MK" theory!

Well, I've got to give credit where credit is due. My source for the information was Tramp. He's unimpeachable.

Haunted Mansion needs a rehab alot more than Pirates does. It's so bad in there you can see the scrims the animatronics are behind in the graveyard scene. Audio needs a good tweaking as well.

1. The castle is not getting a major change for DL's 50th.

There will be changes. I know the engineers handling parts of the project. I do not have details just yet as the enhancements are in their preliminary concept and engineering stages.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! The story about all the secret government stuff at Disney always makes me laugh! You just brightened up my day!

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
Where has all this info about a new water slide come from, this rumour surfaced over a year ago and since then Ive seen nothing. Is this just wishful thinking or has it been confirmed?

As for Defence Net-work Disney, some times things are hidden in plain view.

MGM Green Army Men, tanks, Patrol boat even a transport plain. Dont think Eisner shut animation to save money, no, that building is now used as a barracks.

Why do you think that Expedition Everest at AK is taking so long to build? its because in the heart of it is a new command and control facility, which thanks to loose talk on here is having to be built since some people who should know better gave away the castle secrets.

Yes, a new waterslide--or should I say watercoaster--is being built in Typhoon Lagoon right now. Guests will sit in large tubes and be propelled with water jets. Visit Schlitterbauhn's website if you want to see a watercoaster. It's about time Disney jumps on the Master Blaster craze!

Of course, the slide will actually be used to train military personnel on how to survive rapid water conditions. The raft ride in AK was intended to meet this need, but soldiers reportedly complained that the environmental message prevented them from thinking straight; this is also why the safari is no longer utilized to train soldiers in combatting wild animals.

hahahahaha

Does the ride really need another "wench"?

The only problem with adding any of those figures is that it might encourage Disney to make suitable changes at Haunted Mansion...and NOBODY wants that to happen!
