The hat would be perfectly fine if they simply placed it on top of one of those free-standing coat racks.
Oh, sure, in order to be at the same scale, the coat rack would have to be about the size of...I don't know, the Sears Tower maybe?
At least, then, you wouldn't have to see the hat anymore.
