What's Best?

My brother is having his b-day the 15th of October..our family is looking at staying at one of the resorts for 2 days..we're not looking to pay an arm and a leg, but a nice stay, and visit.

Where's a good place to stay? Anybody have a list of the resorts, and how much it costs per night? Thanks

I think we need more info than you gave us. How many in your party? Ages? Which park do you want to spend the most time in? Will you have a car? Any of the resorts will give you a nice stay, the cost varies greatly.

Animal Kingdom Lodge or Wilderness Lodge are both winners... if you're willing to pay. My best choice is Port Orleans French Quarter. A moderate resort, fairly priced, extensively themed, and almost a party look anyways, so your brother would feel extra special staying in PO:FQ for his birthday. P.S. Lots of Hidden Mickeys in the rooms! (For explanation, see signature.)

I would try the ALK. The atmosphere is great and you don't feel like you're in Florida while you are there!

You can get rooms there now for a good price... remember those Florida resident rates!!!

Wilderness Lodge gets my vote. Theming is magnificiant and the price should be good right now.

If you aren't all that interested in the parks and want just a resort experience, I would go with AKL or WL. Both are beautiful and offer the most to see at the resort itself.

Choose Wilderness Lodge. It will make you feel you went on a vacation in the Northwest and you never left Florida.
