Whatever happened to the animal poo candy in the Animal Kingdom?

Yes I'm aware it probably was a +%@# idea in the first place
But how long did this genius idea last and were there complaints, or did it just dawn on somebody at Disney that eating lookalike animal poo possibly wasn't a great fit? When I asked a cm at the AK about it this last visit she looked at me like I was deranged or something. I tried explaining to her this was a real thing a while back but got the impression she thought as I was even more disturbed than she had originally the more I pursued it.
So did anyone ever see or try this stuff and what were your thoughts?
I Guess it just got flushed?
