No, not that!

It’s my comedy web page, silly.

It’s a work in progress – still have to add some pictures and whatnot – but it’s a start for someone who wanted a website called Luddite.com (it’s taken by a company that makes wood computers).

LOL! Yeah, it's like I mentioned on another thread, Comcast HSI is 10 times faster than AOL dial-up, which means my computer can crash 10 times as much in the same time my computer would crash once with AOL. :brick:

I'm performing at the comedy club, Maria.

Usually at comedy clubs, the opening act is also the emcee or person who introduces the other comedians and reminds the audience to tip their waiters and waitresses. :)

It's now confirmed that we're going to have six comics for our September 11 show -- the proceeds of which will be donated to the "September 11 Fund." I updated my web page if you want more info.

Is it improv too? Or you have your stand up act? Too bad you don´t live near here, or I would go see you. :animwink:

It's mostly set material, but I do try to incorporate improv into my act -- just a little audience interaction.

You're sweet to say you'd come see my show if you were in Chicago. But, don't worry, I'm willing to bring my show to you! Where shall we meet?

Chicago Comedian Ray Hanania
Reacts to Boycott Threats from PETA

CHICAGO – September 10, 2003 – Chicago comedian Ray Hanania today announced that he would continue to perform Thursday nights at Al-Khayam Comedy Club despite threats of a boycott by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA.

A crippled ewe picketing outside the comedy club with a sign reading “I’m a Mutton for Punishment” would not cause any disruption whatsoever in the shows, said Hanania.

Hanania headlines the “Homeland Insecurity Tour,” a show that also features former newspaper reporter, Jon Bigness, and other Chicago-area comedians. Performances are every Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Al-Khayam, located at 2326 W. Foster Ave. in Chicago, through November 20.

“As an Arab-American, I will defend my right to tell offensive sheep jokes until the cows come home,” said Hanania, who’s rumored to be in the running to be the next Iraqi Minister of Information.

“I tell sheep jokes for the shear joy of it,” Hanania continued with a grin that can be only described as sheepish. “No actual sheep are harmed during the course of my show; after the show, however, is a different story. But is it really abuse if you buy them drinks first? I don’t think so.”

Said Jon Bigness, emcee of the Homeland Insecurity Tour, “The unmitigated dereliction on the part of PETA or any other animal-rights protestors to actually picket our show notwithstanding, we are committed to performing stand-up comedy every Thursday night at Al-Khayam. Let’s face facts: Sheep are funny. And sheep jokes are a sure laugh. If you can’t count on sheep, what can you count on?”

This thread is pretty baaaaaaaad. It looks like you think you actually have a sense of ewemor.

My love, she is a wonder
A pearl, a moonbeam bar
And when I gaze upon her
My heart it leaps ajar

Her lovely curls shine softly
Radiant, like a star
In person, she is dainty
She truly has no par

My love she trips so lightly
O'er dale, both near and far
But when I say "I love thee"
She answers simply "Baa"
