What would you do?

I would fix HS.I would get rid of the Hat. I would make the much-discussed Pixar Land. It would include at least 3-4 rides (dark ride level). I would make a land which includes Disney Channel-type activities for older elementary/middle school kids which would include at least 1 ride and a show. The ride would be more intense - like a Phineas and Ferb ride that would be equivalent to the intensity of BTMR. ANd, if possible, I'd like for the Disney Channel stars to actually be there at certain times to meet with them in person. Like every other week there'd be 2 stars from a current show. It wouldn't take much. And,we all know their careers are short-lived so they wouldn't be diong it for long. I would put something useful on Hollywood Blvd. I'd re-do the tour and make it so that people could actually see relevant sets, costumes, etc. again. I'd add another character meal location. The list could go on and on....

I'd fix HS, take out the studio tour, LMA, make all of that area Pixar related , the honey I shrunk the kids set would be expanded into something Pixar related like how they have the bugs life thing in DCA but possibly for wall.e, definatly add some new dark rides and the long talked about monsters inc coaster, for Epcot I'd give imagination the dream finder back and just make a more modern version of the original, magic kingdom , tomorrowland would get everything updated. Add alien encounter back but only in one of the show rooms, but replace stitch with something better possibly something like something monsters inc related? I'd also get rid of the speedway theme and put something more autotopia related. Update pretty much everything there, give buzz a more DL kind of feel mixed with Men in black. Add an indy ride to adventureland, and for a new park I'd say a vintage kind of park with all the classic attractions that they took out and people miss dearly . I could keep going on with what they can do

Honestly, I'd just start bringing stuff back. More topiaries. Lights of Winter. A skyway. That sort of thing. Good napkins. How could I forget the napkins?!

Add a coaster to Epcot. It's the only park without one. And I'd use an international theme to it. Different cars would be representing different countries.

Tough choice if I'm limited to just one thing.

There's the part of me that wants to go back and have Horizons back. In the same vein, I'd like everything in the Imagination pavilion restored to its original respective states. As much as I miss those things though, I don't know if it would be a step back to do this.

The opening ceremonies at the Olympics gave me an idea for a ride. I'm no engineer, so I don't know if this is even possible, but here goes... the queue to the ride (which would be inside, and fairly dark) would incorporate large elaborate story books (like the ones that opened many of the classic movies) and animatronic figures from each book as well as animatronic aspects to the books as well. The books would be situated in dark spots...spots where tense moments with villains would start to surface. Riders would then board susended chairs (i.e. inverted track where your chair is suspended from the ceiling). The chairs would be designed so that you can't really see the top section at this point (more on this later). You'd then enter the ride and encounter the darkest bleakest moments of these stories with each fo the villains...not sure which stories just yet, but Maleficent and the Queen of Hearts are my fave villians, so they'd definitely figure in. The ride speed would vary based on the scenes...i.e. your chair would move slowly when tentatively approaching an area and then whip around and swing like most inverted rides during peak moments with each villain. While it might not be obvious in this first part...the ride would be gradually traveling upward. The climax of the villain side of the ride would be an attack from huge animatronic Maleficent in full dragon form- and just as she goes in for the kill you "fly" upward at high speed into a bright and cheery area. It's at this point where you can see your chair is suspended from an umbrella- i.e. Mary Poppins saves the day. (I know- totally fiction and doesn't fully go together- but hey- it came from the Olympics opening ceremony where Mary Poppins did save the day for all those unrelated stories). The ride would end in a spiral. At first the spiral descent would be slow- almost like floating- so you could take in everything around you (not sure what but think pretty much any cheery part in in the various Disney movies and have it in light, painting, and figure forms. Then you'd speed up... Envision the Silly Symphony Swings in DCA meets a roller coaster making a rapid spiral descent. Upon exiting the ride...there would be one ultra large story book where you exit sort of through the binding and pages ruffle a little with something written like "and they lived happily ever after" on one side and "the end" on the other.

OK- I know- crazy...but if I have oodles of $ to spend on it- I think at least parts of the idea have some real merit. :)

I would build a Tron E-ticket rollercoaster in future world or tomorrowland (not sure where it would fit better). It would be indoors and be dark, with grids and neon lights and what not.

You beat me to it! I was going to say a Tron light cycle attraction of some kind. I love Tron!

This is a tough one, because you only could pick one thing.

I would do is replace LMA with a Incredibles land as an expansion for Pixar Place.
