What Would YOU Do with A Monorail Car?

Just saw that a Monorail car was up for auction on ebay for $160,000.00! Knowing how creative everyone is here, IF you bought it, what would you use it for?

I thought about renovating it into a small Tiny House that could have a living, Kitchen and a Bedroom ensuite, but very minimal in size and execution! And of course have a plot of land along a busy road for all to see! Allow fans to take pics of the outside!?

Hmmmm... I'd have to hire my contractor to break open my living room wall and build it into the house. Hook up power so I'd have the doors function and the monorail speil announcing throughout the car. Hook up videos of the monorail loop to show in the windows. Then when I came in from a day of work I could imagine my day away with a trip around the monorail loop. Only bad thing would be not being able to unload at the MK station for the real thing.

They should sink one in the 7 Seas Lagoon and have scuba rentals. Or probably a better fit would be down at Castaway Cay.

I would make it the coolest play fort in the neighborhood, maybe make it into a tree fort/house.

I'd invest additional $$$ and turn that into a stretch limo with a full bar, HD flatpanel TVs, HD stereo system...it'd be the ultimate party limo!

I thought about this earlier this year when we went down to uni for the weekend. Driving back up I75 between Jacksonville and the FL/GA line...I almost wrecked my car...
My wife was asleep and I'm trying to quietly sing along to some old grateful dead concert when I saw a 18 wheeler hauling something that looked like a subway train car. Then it passed and I noticed it looked just like a monorail car. It said in black letters down the side "Walt Disney World Resort". I was so busy trying to check it out in the rearview, I about swiped the center barrier at 75mph!
I was skeptical though, I don't think it was as new as the ones running around the world now. It looked like larger Windows honestly, more like a transport van cab. Idk, I would love to build one into a guest house here at home. A guy down the way build an old train car into a studio for his mom. It's REALLY cool. I don't know what kind of work was put into it before he showed it to me, but, it was plumbed for heat and air. Had a small bathroom, like a motor home. And a tiny kitchenette. If it was possible to score a monorail, it might be worth more just to store it somewhere...who knows!!

@yensid67 do you have a link to that eBay sale? I can't find it

If there's one thing I miss more than '80s Future World EPCOT, it's the sounds of Mark IV doors opening and closing. You could hear when the CM was coming down towards your car as the doors closing got louder and louder.

It would be my new Home Office/den. Just have to retrofit a desk in there and some power outlets. Just have to make sure to hit mute on the conference call if I get up to walk out the doors...couldn't have them hear the monorail spiel and give it away that I was leaving.

I was watching Ninja Turtles 2 (the good 90's version) and when they find the subway station, they live in the station and the subway cars.

I'd put the monorail inside my house and make it a room in a room! Maybe a tiny movie room or an office.

It'd look great as a motor home...but I believe there're just to dang small!
