What would you do w/ a day off at Contemporary?

Visit nearby resorts (WL,FW,Poly,GF) by riding the boats on SSL/BL and wander/eat/people-watch. The Searaycers are fun but kinda expensive because even at top speed, it is hard to make a full lap around the two waterways in less than an hour and a half. If you can resist the temptation to enter, you can walk/ride to entrance gate to MK and people-watch, although I couldn't do it for more than an hour or so. I do not think Epcot entrance gate is a spot to do people-watching.

We stayed at BLT last month. It was awesome. Outside of the shops on floor 5 you can watch Wishes from the balcony...it's cool. One night we just hopped on the monorail and went to the Poly and ate dinner there at their QS (Captain Cook's) and had dole whips. You can enjoy a movie outside under the bridge between the CR and BLT. There are fun pool activities there during the day. You can sit on the beach at the Poly or GF and watch the water pageant or Wishes. You can rent a sea raycer or take the boat around to the different resorts. You can also go to DTD and shop/eat. I'm not sure if you are sports people but there may be a game you can catch at WWoS. You can also go and either participate or watch others at Richard Petty's.

There is so much to do in WDW that doesn't involve a park ticket. :)

I'd walk over to the Magic Kingdom and take the Steam Train tour, then have lunch at Contempo, go back to my room for a nap, then sit poolside and soak up some sun rays and then I'd head to the shops to brouse and then hit the Outer Rim bar for some cold beers and conversation and sports on the bar TV, and after that I'd head back to my room, order some food delivered then sit on my patio, where I would just sit and relax and smile and enjoy where I'm at.
