Would you rather go on a 4 night cruise than have 6 nights in WDW or have 10 nights in WDW? Im having trouble choosing which one me and my family should go on.

Definitely do the Disney Cruise, I went on one years ago and had a great time. They have fantastic shows and great activities for the kids. There are character meet n greets aboard ship too.

It really comes down to personal preference....I've never been on a cruise, but my fiance has....she didn't like it nor did she have a very good time.....

However, we've got friends that cruise every year and love it....

Personally, I'd spend 2-3 days at Universal and 7-8 at Disney before heading on a cruise....

I hope you have a great trip!!

Even if it isn't the Disney Cruise Line, I think the cruise/land vacation would be the best idea. I can't quite imagine what people do at Disney for 10 straight days. Four, maybe five...but ten in a row!?!?!?

I have been lucky to get in two ten day trips to Disney World this year. We are going back again for a eight day trip in September (Free Dining Yum). It is easy to spend ten days in Disney World and still only see small parts of it, more so if you are going with a toddler. If you deside to go on the cruise as well I would do it after Disney World, that way you will be much more relaxed when you go home. Disney World has to be the most fun place to take a holiday, however it is far from being a relaxing vacation. Have a great time, as I am sure you will no matter which way you go.

well have you ever done the cruise before? it all depends, how many times have you been to the world? How long has it been since you were at the world? If you've done the cruise, how long has it been since your last cruise? If you havent done the cruise, i would highly recommend it.

well, and this is only my opinion. You should do the cruise/world. You're gonna love the cruise. And theres only a handful of new stuff thats worth seeing at the world, but again, this is my opinion. Hope you have fun with whatever you choose.

I would like to mention in reference to some other posters that there is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference between "a cruise" and "The Disney Cruise Line". DCL is not just 'a cruise'. In all seriousness between all of the cruises I have been on (Princess, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Norweigan [sp]) Disney has done an AMAZING job.

Gotta go with the flow here.

Try the cruise.

The only person I know who went on the cruise wasn't too thrilled with it, but there were weather issues so they didn't make it to Castaway Cay.

She also was disappointed in the lack of character interaction. On her cruise, they were not as available as they are in the parks. She is big on characters and figured since they were all "trapped" on the ship together that they'd be around a lot.

However--her cruise was 2 years ago, and perhaps things have changed. She did write a letter about the lack of character opportunities.

my own opinion here, but if you could do the world then the cruise, it is really cool because after rushing around the park (...though I doubt you would be really rushed in 6 days....) you can just relax on the sea.

but...given the fact that you will be at the world for 6 days......cruise then world.

(the land/sea vaction package isn't always cheaper!!!);)

Maybe she has kids, which would explain it, but if she doesn't, I have to ask. Does your friend know that the characters are just people dressed in costumes?
