Merry Christmas everyone! Quick question. We have the new PIN number WDW has been promoting (max 35% off) and were looking at a trip in late March, early April. The question is, what would we lose if we would book the WDW resort through a third party and the tickets through Beneplace (on-line discount site some corporations offer employees). In short, if we book our resort from a 3rd party and get our tickets from a 3rd party, will we miss out on anything? The resorts we are looking at are Caribbean and Coronado.

The dining plan? I believe you cant only get that if you book packages directly through disney.

Lose? Not much. If you book a package through WDTravel, you do get some freebies, arcade credit, mini golf, etc but that's about it. Booking through a third party can be a good thing, especially if you go through a WDW specialist TA. Not just Disney Approved (or whatever the term is) but someone who does 90%+ Disney only. But just going through your local TA probably won't bring much to the table. A non specialist often doesn't know the detals and ins and outs of a WDW vacation, and they own your reservation, so changes need to be made by them.
Tickets? You can get them from any reputable sources. I'd compare their prices to Undercover Tourist, (remember to include tax/shipping) as they are usually the cheapest. You would want to order the tickets well in advance, as you need to associate them with your MDE account before you can book any FP+.

Nope. A TA can book this as well, but you would need to do it as a full package, either through WDTravel or a TA, unless you are a AP or DVC owner.

Thanks for the replies. We decided to drop from a Moderate to a vlue and booked Pop through Disney. Suprisingly, the delta, in our case, was fairly small. Who knew?
So, back to apple sauce. Those Mott's single serve are great but just a bit too small if you ask me. They should have a Hungry Man size.
