What would be a good ending for Spaceship Earth?

Whether it's a given or a speculation that Spaceship Earth is finally getting a proper ending scene there's allot of possibilities this day in age that it can be. As much as we love the 1994 ending its over 15 years I outdated all except for the city and beyond that. Id like to see them retheme the ride about more towards progress rather than just communication which would allow them to keep most of the origional scenery with additions and few changes but more of a dramatic change in narration. I'd love to see dinosaurs from UOE added to the beginning, leave the history part alone with few changes then past the thearter and living room scene I'd like to see the live video chat scene bought back. After the light tunnel id love to see the Space colony's from horizons added, following that I'd like to see underwater living tied in with some other futuristic scenes from horizons capped off once again with the futuristic city and model of Spaceship Earth. I thought for years it would be great to see them intertwine some Horizons with Spaceship Earth since where as far as we can go with communication, any ideas?

Convert the ride into a History of the Earth with emphasis on how ancient thru modern day tools influenced progress. Set up the show-and-tell style ride to explain that we are honorary Museum Field Research Assistants and must travel back to the past in Time Machines to see how specific tools ( the one's currently being displayed in the Museum) were used. It's our job to make notes and record information on how the tools were used, where, by whom, etc. We do this via the monitor attached to the ride cabin. Make it game! Monitor screen doubles as countdown timer, display's current era in time, etc. Or.. have it so that we "collect" tools to be showcased in the museum. I think the monitor and finale should serve as a game element.

I'd like to see the choose your ending from horizons, but with modernized graphics for the ending of sse instead of the lame your future ending they have now. They can even use the abandoned ending tracks from the 94 ending to give the ending some movement without transforming it into a thrill ride.

Turn it into Tiger Woods Life and Golf.
In the beginning it's all about golfing, hence it looking like a golf ball.
Then as you start descending, or Tiger's life starts going downhill, you see hookers, strippers, and then Tiger's Mugshot becomes an animatronic saying "don't do drugs kids!"

Educational!

Maybe a projection of a giant asteroid hurtling through space... with monologue that explains how often giant asteroids hit the Earth, and how long until the next collision is due...

I'm not sure but I really really hope that SSE doesn't go the way of UOE and other Classic Disney attractions with all these changes being made.
From what I have heard Spaceship Earth is only going to get an ending to the existing ride which is well overdue. Probably more of a tomorrow's child type ending since communication is at the end of the trail.

Maybe Lego should sponsor SSE. That way the descent would be nothing but Lego models and sets in their full glory. Then after you exit the ride, you walk into the Lego playground.

Just utilize the old decent show elements and revamp them. Heck, just turn them on again. It represented the future of communication and still works.
All is still back there except for the fiber optic and mesh correct? I often wonder if those curtains will come down once Siemens is gone.

Sorry to link to an external site and all, but I am too lazy to write all this twice.

TL;DR - Ann Druyan re-writes the script for SSE, descent is a combination of Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot as well as discussion of the Golden Record on Voyager, linking the global perspective and communications message together.

Who are we all kidding though. It's going to end up being something short sighted, tying in some IP that Disney wants to push. A Wrinkle in Time? Milo Murphy's Law? Some other non-Universal Marvel property?

I would like to see MORE about the future of communications and how the entire industry is changing and reshaping itself. There is so much that could be talked about and presented. Some it happening right now, and some of it a few years off. If they could get a large telecomm provider in there to sponsor the attraction and provide an ending that is updated on a regular basis as things change, it would be excellent.

Of course I know what provider I would like to see as a sponsor, but then I would really like a corporate lounge, so maybe I am just a bit biased.
