What Will Supposedly Be in the Fantasyland

Are we ever going to have some kind of tangible proof of the SW coaster? Not that I doubt our sources, but some real, visible evidence would be nice...or even a timetable for when to expect such evidence...

There's some kind of event in early December....I think. I can't keep track of those things, but for some reason early December sticks in my mind as being forecasted as a good time for announcements.

I wonder if there are two plans. One with Tangled and on with Mine Coaster...and the reason why they are holding out is for Box Office results. (100% wishful thinking here). :D

idk about that. lol. i think that anything that disney is planning on building is already set in stone and won't change. with it opening in 2012 i think it would be too soon to change it if tangled didnt do as well. i think it will be a snow white mine ride with snow white meet and greet. i'm just curious about the concept art.

The idea of M&Gs as stand alone attractions was a bad idea. But a Dwarfs Cottage (serving as a Dwarves and SW meet and greet venue) built alongside a new SW mine car ride is the CORRECT approach.
I agree, hopefully as the FLE progresses they start making them more side attractions (which is what they've started to do already).

Thanks for the link! :D

I can't believe how big BatB continues to grow. Holy cow!

I think with TLM we are in the appearance of slow down mode where they are probably focussing a lot of things from within the building as opposed to dressing up the outside but I'm sure it won't be long before we start seeing some formation of the moat/queue.

The small hub that is supposed to separate BOG and the village doesn't seem like it will be quite as big as they make it seem in the concept art, but maybe it's just that I'm not seeing it from an aerial view.

I think we will see some speed up construction work come Jan-Feb. When the holiday season is over they'll put some more cranes and construction equipment back there. The Little Mermaid ride is probably getting worked on the inside (ie plumbing, electrical, walls) but the Beauty and the Beast we'll see start getting walls up in the next few months (i'm hoping).

I don't know if this has been brought up in the time since the plans were originally shown. I know that I'm not always a consistent follower on here. However, I just realized why the castle walls exist.

Originally, I, and many others, believed it was just an added touch, since Fantasyland is within castle walls, and this forest wouldn't be within the walls, so they walled off the new area. However, with the size of the new Beauty and the Beast addition, the castle also brings the added touch of hiding it. Forced perspective aside, it is hard to be standing in front of a large castle, look at Beast's castle and the newly built mountains, with people standing around it, and think of it as anything but only a model (insert Monty Python reference here). However, with the castle wall in place, the two structures are mostly obscured from each other, and what you do see is likely to only be the top, with no people to reference for scale. It's a very smart move.
