What will be more popular?

"""Star Wars just isn't my cup of tea. TS gets my vote."""

Are we supposed to be voting personal preference on this? I thought the post creator is asking which one you believe will be more popular not which one you prefer. I must be getting senile fast.

......nor adding a new TSL themed hotel/resort, doing major road construction on the main thoroughfares around the south side of Studios to deal with the fully anticipated increased traffic patterns, housing a standing merchandise store dedicated to TSL in the expensive rent district Disney Springs, nor paid Mr Lasseter & Co 4.2 billion dollars for his contributions of Toy Story.

So it sounds like, once both parks are open it would make the most sense to do Star Wars as soon as the park opens in the morning, then head to Toy Story and do those rides, with FP selections for ToT and RnR later in the day..
If this is the reason you are asking: which to do first in the morning?, then you might want to check out the threads on the lines for Pandora, which is not in the same universe as Star Wars in terms of the number of fans who will come to experience it. There will be hours-long waits to experience the rides in Star Wars Land. There will be hours-long waits just to get into Star Wars Land. Both Star Wars rides will be Tier 1 FP selections, so you won't be able to just breeze through SWL and pop over to the rest of the park.

First things first: nicely played with your 'not in the same universe'.....I like what you did there.

Now on to point at hand:
Just like in standard Harry Potter fashion, families will make special trips to Central Florida just to see StarWars Land--- they will build their vacation time around it. This will generate way, way more interest, hype and craziness than a Pandora.

Lets be fair about this and declare Toy Story Land will be super busy upon opening ---attracting locals with AP's and those who already just happen to be in WDW. This demographic will flood the land to capacity ........but don't expect people flying in for the game like Potter folk did at Universal or what people will be doing for StarWars--- it just ain't gonna happen. It will be super busy early on not so much because of its theme but far more because it will be new and there is more or less nothing in the Studios to offset the demand.

IMHO, coming to a Disney forum and asking which will be the most popular, I would take into consideration how long one franchise has been around versus the other and their followings. It is more of along the lines of common knowledge that Star Wars has been around for the longest and the fans for that franchise alone is world wide. Toy Story is just not that popular compared to Star Wars...
