What will be more popular?

My guess is Galaxy's Edge will more popular since it's currently in the main stream of pop culture again with all the new content over the last few years and everything planned through 2020. Especially with adults.

So it sounds like, once both parks are open it would make the most sense to do Star Wars as soon as the park opens in the morning, then head to Toy Story and do those rides, with FP selections for ToT and RnR later in the day..

Ya i thought of that as well...there might be some disney haters out there who love star wars and simply go for that reason. I get that it is hard to compare the two, i just figured there's a lot of small children that go to WDW and they would be big fans of Toy Story land because it's all toy related!

Not just small children... my 21 year old son seems to be looking forward to it. He was in the hospital when he was about 3 for a long time and Toy Story was one of the movies he watched over and over, so... I keep telling him it's going to be a kiddie area, but he's still excited. He even sends me photos of the progress of it lol.

Toy Story Land looks ridiculous. The two rides look fine, fun even. Otherwise this land is to WDW's parks what the All-Stars are to WDW hotels.

TSL is not unpopular in DLP though, on the contrary, even if it is the worst land in the worst Disney park on the planet. So who knows, there is always an audience for whatever accidentally escapes from WDI's rear end.

SWLand at least looks like a no expenses spared land. I have some doubts about some of the choices they made, even fundamental ones, but I can not see this land not being swamped for years.

Once Toy Story Land and Galaxy's Edge are both open, which area do you think will be more popular?

That's a valid question for adults. But for families with children, my guess would be TSL. Think TSMM = Buzz Lightyear; Alien Spinners = Mad Tea Party; Slinky Dog = 7DMT.

This is one of the dumbest questions ever on this forum.

Of course, it will be Star Wars Land even with the lack of family rides at the park. Toy Story Land is simply a "cheap" capacity booster and that will cost about a 4th of what Star Wars Land will cost.

Toy Story will still be popular especially at first because it is new, but because people love the Toy Story brand, but when they found out the land is meh it will die down. Of course, the park will still have a very small capacity so there's that.

Star Wars will have the bigger impact on drawing the numbers in and will definitely be more popular. Its got a much larger fan base that encompasses a broader age range. SW has already been promoted more and I believe Disney will spend a larger portion of its advertising on the lands opening. They will help drive the popularity because its highly profitable and has more opportunities for further expansion. You dont see Disney talking about an immersive TS hotel do you. They know whats going to succeed and not lose guests interests.

You don't have to be so rude about it
