What/Who at Disney do you think should get more credit or recognition?

We all know the "best" rides and most popular shows and most loved characters, but what have you seen that you thought was great and doesn't get the recognition it deserves? attraction? ride? show? person?

IMO I think the dancers don't get any credit. They put in hours and hours of practice time and do show after show after show. Even when the people inside the costumes have swapped out, the dancers are the same. They hardly even get a good glance. They are in the parades, stages and shows. They do multiple shows a day. I have friend who is a performer. She and I danced together in High School. In one day, she'll do a parade at MK, the LK show at AK, then another parade at MK. She does dancing and stilk walking. They do so much.

Most Cast Members in General, the guest service I receive everytime I am in WDW keeps me coming back because I have yet to find better anywhere.

The custodians.

That's a good one! Im sure all of us guests definitely create some filth and these people clean it up every 15min so the next guests don't complain beofre making their own mess. I know I couldn't stand in a bathroom wiping counters while a guest takes a #2. They do a great job.

My mother....she has worked at WDW for almost 15 yrears....She has done everything from guest relations to custodian. At WDW you can change your job every 6 months if you want. And she has done that for the most part. She wanted to try everything. She even tried to become a bus driver. but that didnt work out...lol it was the parking thing that got her. She has opened all the ASR,AK and POP. She loves all the guest she comes in contact with. She always has a smile on her face and eptomizes the CM's

She is 60 yrs old plus....and loves her job. I tell her all the time that she has brought so much joy to so many people. So when you are interacting with a CM....remember it may be my mother....so be nice..lol :drevil:

The landscapers, custodians, the CMs that dance, sing, or even wear those Character costumes in the worst humidity ever does deserve credit where it's owed.

For me, it's the CMs who work in the retail shops, like World of Disney. I have seen them hassled by customers over really petty things and then pick up the next customer with a smile and whole new attitude. That is really hard to do.

The Fantasyland dark rides, most people don't understand why I still ride them even though there are no little kids in our group when we visit WDW.

What about an attraction or lcation?think any are underrated?

Carousel of Progress. You feel Walt in there for sure.

Not sure if it's possible for this to be underrated but how about Hall of Presidents? Even as a Canadian going to watch it I love it and love the emphasis on Lincoln. You can feel the history and the pride right there and you get the feeling you are in a building in Washington D.C. as well

Iam a STRONG believer Micheal Eisner does not get the credit he deserves for turning around a company that was dying.

Eisner saved Disney, made them viable, and ultimately the corporate power they have become to this day. Yes, there is some things he did wrong, but his hits are more common than his misses.

I agree. He pulled Disney out of a huge fire. It is just a shame he went all Darth Sidious‎ at the end which over shadowed nearly all of his accomplishments.
