What was the first Disney animated movie you saw in theaters?

I think it was Lady and the Tramp probably in the 50's at the Saeger in New Orleans, LA. I remember momma saying I cried so loud during some part she had to take me out of the theatre til I stopped.

Saw an 80's re-release of Snow White. Can't remember any other Disney movie in theater. Remeber The Great Mouse Detective a few years later.

Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Snow White and 7 Dwarf. In a round theater that slowly moved.

2nd movie was the original Parent Trap, my all time favorite movie.

I believe mine was a early-to-mid-80s rerelease of Peter Pan. And I've just now realized I haven't seen a Disney Animated film in theaters since Atlantis: The Lost Empire (don't listen to the haters, that movie is AWESOME.)

Snow White when i was little during it's early 70's re-release.
I was fascinated with the dwarf's organ...all the little critters mouths flapping open and closed.

Also vividly remember seeing 'Pete's Dragon' in 77' when it was released. I was all of six.
The movie projector broke near the climatic end , and the film melted right there up on the big screen before my eyes.
That was amazing and surreal moment for a six year old.
