What was the best "extra" entertainment you have done at WDW?

Depending on your budget, dinner at the California Grill in the Contemporary while watching Wishes is something my family tries to do every year. Also I don't know how willing your kids are/how old, but we always find it fun to just take one night to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours and stay in the parks until 1 or so in the morning, just for the experience. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Hope this helps!

not sure how old your kids are - but Cirque is incredible and worth every penny... if you've never seen the show, you'll be really glad you did this!

Dont know how old

your kids are but if younger then I wouldnt miss the family magic tour. We did it last time and I think it will be remembered as the best thing we have ever done at WDW. If you do a search you will see my review for it. Absolutely amazing fun. A memory to last forever.

I agree. We did the Family Magic Tour our last trip with our 3 year old. Seeing him skip along hand in hand with Wendy was well worth the morning of us adults getting to act like fools :p

Cost is $25, but if you have the Disney Visa, you can get a discount on this or many of the tours.

This tour is aimed at younger kids mostly. You are on a hunt, and follow clues found throughout MK. At the end, there is a meet with a character (we had Wendy, I've read Peter Pan and others can too), and they go on a ride.

During the tour, you get to basically act like a goofball. I remember singing happy birthday all the way down main street (which was appropriate since the 2 kids on the tour were celebrating birthdays), rolling down the ramp at Cosmic Ray's, and pretending to be a racecar through adventureland. A good time was had by all.
