I have never gone on any of the tours at WDW but would like to on our next trip. I really really would love to do "The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour" at MK, and the "Behind the Seeds" tour at the Land at EPCOT. Also I have heard that the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour at MK and the "Caring for Giants" at AK are very good. Has anyone ever been on any of the tours before? Which tours are fun and interesting and are worth the price?

Keys to the Kingdom and the World Showcase Discovery tours for me. Loved them both.

our guide for WS was amazing, she just happened to have co-written it! It was New Year's Day 2017 and she had offered to cover for a colleague who had been on duty the night before. She had all sorts of new info that hadn't yet been added to the "regular tour" which she was dropping in, and answering questions which almost certainly wouldn't normally get answered. ;) Goes without saying she knew WS inside out. The best moment though money can't buy. A wedding in Italy complete with Cinderella's coach and six white horses, which we watched from Germany.

Behind the Seeds is inexpensive and interesting. Not a huge "wow" tour but you get what you pay for with backstage walks in the garden area. Keys to the Kingdom is worth the price. When I did it, we have a private narrated tour of JC and got to ride HM. It ends with a *brief* tour of the utilidors. UnDISCOVERed Future World is the comparable tour in Epcot which I also recommend. Another great tour and on the higher end of cost is Africa Wild Trek. You have your own private jeep as well as special views of hippos and crocs with a meal on a verandah. Very good tour. Haven't yet done Steam Trains or Marecline to the Magic Kingdom but want to do both.

Behind the seeds was fun and interesting. Wild Africa Trek is wonderful and getting ready to do it for a second time in February. The Family Magic Tour at MK is good if for families with kiddos from the 4-8 range. I would also like to do the Caring for Giants tour.

I went on Savor the Savannah with my dad last January. Lovely experience and the entire tour was 4 people including us. It was a very intimate discussion with all of the CM's and learned some great info about all the animals and the inter-workings of the Safari, topped with a light dinner and endless wine and beer.

That sounds pretty cool actually.

My wife and I did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and really enjoyed it.
As another poster said, if you like trains you will probably love the Magic Behind Our Steam Trains tour. I have done that one three times. It will never happen again, but the first time I did it I was the ONLY one who had scheduled the tour and had the whole thing with just me and the guide (one of the engineers). :D
