So I leave in less than a week! I’ve always gone in the hot summer lately and it’s been awhile since I went in “winter”! Do I wear pants, capris o r shorts and bring a light jacket if it’s low 70!’s? I LOVE Disney World and yes this is my second 5 day trip in one year! I live in cold Virginia!

I'm in the DC suburbs. It's getting chilly here. Next week is supposed to be polar bear weather. The bright side is that 60 degrees feels hot, right?

Maybe pack to be flexible. I've never been in February, but in mid-January visits I've worn pants or shorts depending on the day. The sun and humidity can affect your comfort. But almost always end up needing a sweatshirt in the evening in the winter. In March visits, I usually end up in shorts or skirts, again with a sweatshirt for the evening.

We're going in February this year also (to Orlando from 2/18-2/22, albeit not to WDW), and current forecasts are putting the high temperatures in the mid-high 60s and lows in the 50s -- a few degrees lower than average, and potentially quite chilly-feeling if the day is windy and/or cloudy.

Assuming that this forecast doesn't change (once we get to highs above 70, my family considers it shorts weather), my plan is to pack items that can be layered: tees with jeans or denim capris, with zip-up hoodies and fleeces (that can be tied around the waist or tossed in a lightweight backpack when not in use). We'll probably bring the swimsuits and flip-flops too, as we're content to swim in almost any temperature. OP, it looks like the projected high temps are more like mid-low 70s for your dates, in addition to some flexible layering pieces (ideally in a mix-and-match color scheme), you may want to pack some shorts, dresses or other warm-weather items.

Layers! Bring clothes that you can layer. Convertible pants, T-shirts and long sleeved shirts, a fleece and a rain jacket. Color coordinate so you can mix and match. Finally, of course, sneakers. In February it can be warm during the day but chilly at night. Be prepared and go with lightweight options.

We are from Upstate NY and travel to Florida almost every year for Presidents week (3rd week in February). You really can get a mixed bag. Last year 2018 it was mid 80's all week with mid 60's at night. It was more like April weather. Usually it is 70's for high and 50's at night. About 5 or 6 years ago it was about normal then the last 3 days were 50's during the day and mid to low 30's at night. Lucky we drove down and had extra clothing & coats in the car. I guess just look at the weather forecasts before you go and be ready for anything. Layering is the key.

Layers. I've worn up to four: T-shirt, polo shirt, sweatshirt, jacket. I've worn shorts but I also have a pair of long travel pants.

Weve made several Feb trips and you will have to be prepared for possible chillier afternoons/evenings. By mid day youll start noticing it getting colder. Bring a sweatshirt or windbreaker for taking care of the evening chill, and you may find the need to make the change from shorts to long pants. There will be enough of a change from the coldness where youre coming from that it will feel great. Youll notice many CM's will be wearing jackets and gloves. The pools may be too cold for a swim but the hot tubs will feel great. It makes a nice break from the snow and ice of home. Just having that time in FL will make the cold at home harder to accept, when you return home youll have to readjust to the rest of winter.

I've been here all month - we've had a few "cool" days, but mostly delightful weather. You might need a jacket at night for the first week or 2 of February, but other than that just plan for removable layers and you'll be fine.
