Going to WDW 12/30 - 1/6 my kids are 7 & 14. Should I pack both shorts and sweats? Footwear: tennis & flip flops?? Not sure and I hate to overpack.

Im not so sure about flip flops maybe just for the pool if you do decide to get in. Walking around the parks that way is a HORRIBLE choice (Speaking from experience)

I would also advise having a pair of those thin gloves that you can get at walmart, joanns, etc that are around $2.00 a pair. We did not bring them on our trip in Dec of 2004 and ended up paying over $8.00 per pair because it was so cold at night in the parks. I was on another trip at the end of Feb in 2008 and when we arrived it was in the high 70s during the day and low 60s at night. A few days later after a massive thunderstorm it was very windy and in the 40s during the day. We had many layers on but had to leave EPCOT during the early evening due to being frozen! Layers are your friend!
