Going to Magic Kingdom soon and was wondering what your thoughts on what to pack in a backpack for magic kingdom. It will be my wife and two year old daughter. We also will bring our stroller. If there any links to other sites with this info that would be great too. See ya

It could be pretty hot while you are there. We have been to WDW twice in May, and both times the temperature was around 90 every day. I brought a couple of Rubbermaid bottles (the ones with the large mouth) and each morning I filled them with ice, but no water. You might want to roll up a hand towel and line the bottom of the backpack to catch any condensation off the bottles. The ice melts as the day progresses, and you can then drink ice cold water. You can get more ice for the bottles at the counter service restaurants. Just remember to keep anything electronic in a separate compartment.

Also bring one of the spritz fans. You would not believe how refreshing it feels, especially on the back of the neck. I also pack things like moist towlettes and a little first aid kit.

Water. Save the bottles and refill them often (the water is fine!). Have a few baggies of non-crushable (or crush resistant) snacks in there too, like graham cracker sticks, fruit snacks, etc. Throw some wipes in a baggie, and grab a handful of the brown mickey napkins at the first counter you stop at. IF by chance it's going to be a cool night, bring your daughter (and yourselves) a sweatshirt or a small blanket, cause it can feel a lot colder than it really is.

Here is what I put in my backpack: camera, sunscreen, anti-bacterial hand gel (cleanser), baby powder, advil (for me), tylenol (for my daughter), bandaids, M&M's and granola bars.

Everything is in the TRAIL size which of course cuts down on bulk and weight. The meds are taken out of the bottle and placed in a plastic pill holder. Everything I take could fit in a quart size zip-lock baggie. I do in fact take said zip-lock baggie to put my camera in when I go on water rides.

Have fun!!!

I'm assuming your daughter will be in a stroller ? In that case you might want to consider two backpacks - one for your daughters items and secured on the back of the stroller, and a second (smaller) backpack for you and the wife. I'd pack : water bottles (with ice), fruit and other small snacks, a camera (beware of the condensation from the water) and of course your wallet
