What to do When you Leave WDW

Usually we have an earlier flight so we just don't turn around. Though I cry when I say goodbye to the Mickey electric towers.

This is our first time driving the 20 hours somi don't know what I'm going to do. It might be harder since I don't have to get on a plane.

Just before we leave, we take one last ride on Spaceship Earth. The same way we began our trip. It's a long drive home so we discuss what we enjoyed most, etc., and the next already in the works planned trip.

I always have my next trip planned, so it's gotten easier. But it still sucks. It actually starts sucking once we reach the half way point of the trip. I always start to think how it's more than half way over. I just get really mopey and depressed on the last day.

We get in the rental car and head to the Gulf Side Beaches for 3 or 4 days before heading home. It provides some much needed rest after the chaos of a WDW trip.

I am sorry its over but think about how lucky I was to be there. There are a lot of people who wish they could go and have never been. I was luck to go and will go back again. Living close by we go a lot. I think over what went right and what went wrong. Then I am just so happy to have been there it all! So many people can't. I just keep thinking how lucky I am!!!:D

MK is always my last day park. It's getting slightly easier leaving than it used to be since there is no longer a question that I'll be back. But it's still an awful feeling everytime I turn my back on Main St as I exit the park for the last time on a trip.

...of course then there is the final DME walk of shame.

I stop at one of the Disney Outlet Stores in Flordia to see if there is one last Disney thing I need (at the reduced price).

Cry... a lot! My mom usually has to run around MK for the last day asking cast members if they have any tissues. The day we leave (we normally get a early flight) I am just miserable, I don't talk and then randomly I burst into tears. When I get home I look at all my souvenirs and get happy about all the great memories made. I have to distance myself from Disney related things for a few days, but after about a week, I am back to begging my parents to plan a new trip!
