What to do! Tickets are lost! (Phew finally got it figured out!)

I have run into what seems to be a huge problem. Our trip was booked through a travel agent. We made our hotel reservations back in April and waited until the beginning of October to purchase our park tickets. I am now 2 days away from our 60 day mark and our travel agent can't seem to find our tickets. Disney has been contacted but they are unable to do anything for us since we have used a TA to book our trip.

This is definitely not helping with the stress I have been feeling leading up to our FP+ booking day.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Final update I hope.

Just got off of the phone with the TA and have been told that Disney IT support will "magically" make the park admission show up at midnight tomorrow when my FP+ booking window opens up.

It seems that because our park admission wasn't purchased with our resort stay, when my parents bought the park tickets at the beginning of October they didn't get linked to our resort confirmation #.

So hopefully tomorrow at midnight things will be right and all will go smoothly.

My MDE profile shows 61 days until our trip. Does the FP+ booking window open up at the change from day 61 to 60 or at midnight on day 60? So many questions and so much confusion in trying to get this thing done.

Time to go take a few Tylenol and let my brain relax for a bit.

A big Thank You to everybody who has listened to my frustrations and helped along the way.

Be prepared for another night of little sleep. Those high demand attractions -like Anna and Elsa M&G and 7 Dwarfs Mine Train go quickly. If you don't get the FP+ selections you want, you can always check back to see if ones have been freed up due to cancellation. I just cancelled the highly desired FP+ for lunch at Be Our Guest. But that is a discussion for another thread and that fastpass is acquired through another Disney site. If you are staying on property, you will probably get an e-mail a couple of weeks before your trip providing instructions to get a FP+ for lunch.

Glad to hear everything is going to be corrected for you. As I suggested earlier, if you planning on visiting again, you might want to try a different TA. Quit frankly, if the TA didn't get the necessary confirmation number for your tickets, he/she should have been on the phone with Disney immediately trying to resolve the problem, rather than waiting for you to make several panicked phone calls.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the heads up.

I won't have to worry about Anna and Elsa since my daughter isn't the least bit interested in meeting her. I don't think its so much the travel agents fault for not getting the confirmation #, where they have fault is in informing my parents that they didn't need to worry about the park tickets when they book the room at All Star Music. Somehow when the tickets and dining plan were purchased the park tickets didn't get linked to our resort reservation by Disney.

I hope at midnight tonight everything works out, but I have a sinking feeling that our tickets won't be linked until tomorrow night.

My fingers are crossed that all will go well. Hopefully if I don't get to book our FP until tomorrow night, some things will still be open.

Regardless, it seems the problem is fixed and I am not going to let a glitch like this ruin our vacation.

Well the tickets have appeared in MDE. It shows that I am at 60 days from my trip on the site but still can't book any fastpasses. When I go to the fastpass selection area it doesn't show us as having any tickets linked. On the phone with Disney now on hold waiting to figure this out.

Does the fastpass window officially open at midnight of your 60 day mark or at midnight when it changes from day 61 to 60?

Off of the phone with Disney customer support and got everything figured out. Because our vacation was booked as a package, Disney doesn't recognize that we will be visiting the parks on the day we check in. So our FP window won't open until tonight at Midnight.

If we had purchased the room and tickets separately you can link them separately and it allows you to book FP for the first day of your stay. Kind of wish I had of known this from the beginning, but will count it as a lesson learned.

Thanks to @LAKid53, @DVCPluto , @mattdenine and any others that have listened to my ramblings and have helped out through this endeavour.

All packages should allow FP+ access on the day of check in for the package. If you have a room only booking followed by a package (which has the tickets attached), you won't get access to the tickets until the check in day for the package.

In other words, my last package was Sept 25-30. I had tickets for the length of stay. The system allowed me to choose FP+ for 9/25, the day we checked in.

I was confused about the whole situation as well. Funnily enough I signed in and out of the sight a couple of times while I was checking things out and the FP window opened up. I was able to book everything I wanted in about 15 minutes and then have spent the last couple of hours tweaking things.

I will post the results in my PTR.
