What to do first at AK

AK is huge, the walk will get tiresome. Avoid walking from one section to the other. I gave this tip before on another thread, but that was mostly for children. AK will tire anyone out. So start off with Dinosaur and continue to go clockwise around the park with attractions. SAVE THE WALKING! :D

Safari first, because the animals will be out. Then headed to EE, grab a fast pass (if the time is for an hour or so later) and then get on it through the queue line...or reverse this, get on first and get the fastpass when you get off...do this only if the fastpass first option would have been within the hour. Head to Dinosaur and then comeback for your fastpass EE.

Fastpass EE first and also go on EE if the line is very short, then head over to the Safari. Use the Fastpass after the Safari.

I would do safari 1st, then over to EE for FP, ride it, then go back for Pangani to see the baby gorilla, Lily. She is adorable and loves to 'people' watch. She claps her ??hands??, rolls her ??arms?? (ie. wheels on the bus), throws her blankee and generally loves the tourists. She should NOT BE MISSED! After this, go back to EE with your FP.

Get to Safari first thing...if the FP is an hour and a half or more go ride EE and then come back for your FP time but if it is an hour or less for your return then just queue it up for the safari. That is the way we go about it. If you do get FP for Safari then grab a FP for EE on your way back out on your way to safari that way you can get a second ride in on EE after you get off of safari. Of course this all requires a lot of legwork and if you are looking to relax a bit I would head to safari first thing so you have the best chance of seeing the most animals before they begin to retreat as the heat of the day increases. HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!:)

FP Kilamanjaro, single rider Expedition Everest, DINOSAUR, back track to Asia for Kali River Rapids. Then use the Kilamanjaro Safaris FP. After that, I just stroll around the park, take in the atmosphere and of course, look at animals. My next visit will definitely include Festival of the Lion King.

And I always make sure to ride Expedition Everest at least five times and DINOSAUR three times.

Take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, after that hit the bugs life show and then grab lunch.

Doing that...keeps the lines down for me when I get there in the morning;)
