What time should I make my dining reservation so I do not miss Fantasmic ?

Hello everyone,

Last time I went to Hollywood studios I ate at Sci-Fi and I must admit that I loved that restaurant. Let's be honest, food is average, but we loved the experienced there.

Now, if Fantasmic is at 7:00, what time do you suggest that we make our reservation ? 17:00 ?

I know that for the show you need to arrive at least 45 minutes prior.

So do you think 17:00 is fine or should we aim more like 16:30 ?

Thanks! :)

Based on the time of year you're going, if you need to be at Fantasmic 45 minutes early, I think you can make it at 5:00 but if you really want to relax, make it 4:30. :)

Thats pushing it. Lets say you want to get out of dinner at 18:00, that gives you 15 minutes to walk over and be 45 minutes early.

Now the question is, how fast does your party eat and are you ordering dessert and/or appitizers. You can easliy take an hour to eat with three courses.

There is also the chance you may not be seated at 17:00, but have to wait.

I say either make them for 16:30 and show up at 16:30 or make them for 17:00 but show up early, like 16:45 so you are pretty sure you will be seated at 17:00

I personally would go for about 4.00pm. Possibly make it earlier (about 2ish) and then have a snack before Fantasmic.

Thanks to the cuts in the number of shows, when Fantasmic is on it will be VERY busy so you need to get there as early as possible.

If you do the dinner package, they have set times for you to go to dinner so as not to miss the show. Just so you know, they have changed the show policy as to waiting on line. You now get on line with everyone else, it's just the seating area that is set aside so you know you will get a seat..
