What time should I get to the parks for New Years?

hi all,

My family and I are concerned about not getting to the parks in time for New Years festivities tonight. Typically when do they close Epcot and magic kingdom by for crowds and when should my family and I get to either park?

For MK you should basically be there (or at least be on the way) now.

Epcot doesn't typically close to capacity. But it will be ridiculously crowded.

Unless you're in Magic Kingdom as you read this, it's already too late. The park has already closed for capacity.

The others are still open though, and you can get in there.

just curious, when they close a park due to capacity can you stand in line outside and enter as people leave?

Thanks everyone. We arrived at Epcot just after 3 and had plenty of time to get in and find a spot on the lawn. Crowded but not impossible.
