What time is AK EMH in Sept?

Just curious as the park closes @ 5pm, do they just go until 8pm?
Don't know how much nighttime darkness you can get in. Hope

I questioned this on another board because we've only done the morning extra hour and this year we are doing both the morning and evening (we have friends traveling with us). I am told they are open until 8:00 p.m.

That's not a stupid question at all (at least I don't think so) - I was actually wondering the same thing myself! The only reason that I would go to AK for evening EMH would be to take in the park while it's dark (I've heard the park is beautiful at night and has a completely different feel). But how dark would the park be by 8pm in Sept.? I guessing it would just be getting dark at that time and then it would be time to leave!?! There's only one evening during my 10 day trip in which AK has evening EMH, I was wondering if it's worth it for me to go...
