What the Best Deal You Have Seen on Flights

Flights are always tricky on my end, when to book... predicting price drops / or raises.

Boston to MCO seemingly never drops below 200 PP if you want to fly at decent times (I am an early flyer down, later flyer coming home).

What's the best deal you've seen?

What's your strategy when buying?

PHL (Philadelphia) to MCO has daily non-stop flights on Southwest Airlines for $89 each way per person with NO bag fees. I have heard that some guest coming from the Boston area often fly out of Providence because it is cheaper. Also check southwest.com periodically as they often run 72 hour sales that offer $69 flights from PHL atleast.

Kayak.com is a good site that will watch the flights and prices for you. They will send you a weekly email giving you any change in price. I have never been one to watch prices..I buy when I have the money and deal. As long as i am happy with the price at time of booking...but others has said that the best prices tend to appear about 3 months prior to your travel date. We try to fly Southwest or JetBlue so we dont have to pay bag fees.

$150 per person is the best we have seen from Louisville, KY to Orlando. I hear of others getting the same fare for $60 or so but I think that must be during a very slow time for the airlines.
