Is Tetris an IP?

I would have said the same thing about Toy Story or Monsters Inc.Nothing about The Incredibles lends itself to a full-out theme park land. No offense to the (first) film, it’s a very good one. It just is the incorrect choice of IP.
This is exactly my take! To me it's about execution, quality, imagination, mood-setting, vibe, surprises, balance, nooks & crannies, music, and fun.Any IP can become a theme park land. Use your imagination and you’ll get there.
We also have Buzz Lightyear in MK and Toy Story Land in HS. We have Star Wars in two areas of the park at the same time. Obviously if they do a land the sing-along would have to go. I think if it’s a heavy enough IP that is popular then it could work. But we already have Frozen Ever After and the sing-along.
I know you’re right. I was thinking more about the land itself. I think Polynesia/Oceania would be a great addition to AK. But because Disney must add IP to everything now, Moana would be the hook.I have to disagree with this too. Moana isn't about animals, nor is it really about nature. Indiana Jones and Encanto getting shoehorned in is bad enough, I'd rather they not add a THIRD unfitting IP to Animal Kingdom. Surely there's room for a Moana ride in Adventureland.
If they are to continue this same level of investment, it would make sense to have another big project ready to start construction in the next couple of years, to meet the 1 new expansion per year they seem to be going for
2024-2027: Tropical Americas
2025-2028: Monstropolis
2025-2029: Piston Peak
2026-2030: Villains Land
2027-2031: Animation Courtyard
This would enhance DHS so much. An “adventure springs” type area (i.e., a parallel land to Adventureland the same way fantasy springs parallels fantasy land).I wonder if they went with Moana if it would be a pure Moana land or if they might do a princess land a la Fantasy Springs. I think it likely something superhero will go in at some point (maybe Echolake/Indy), so having something more girl-oriented might be good.
I just want the land to have some greenery and a dark ride. That is my main desire and I think the main need for the park. So if it is Princess with a Splash/Moana ride and a Tangled boat/dark ride, or Coco with a FoP ride and a dark ride, I would be happy with it.
At this point DHS is just the "IP Park" so you can justify pretty much anything.
Not at all a weird post, if your posting an opinion you should phrase it as such
I agree, I unfortunately have never been that into electric mayhem (they're fun but theres so many other members I care much more about) - so its tough to see them triple down across the D+ show, probably the RNRC re-theme, and this potential new show. But I can't complain about wanting more muppets and then also complain about what muppets I get, so here's hoping they're all fantastic.I’m a little concerned with Disney going all-in on Mayhem instead of focusing on a wider selection of Muppets, but I’d be lying if I said this wouldn’t get me excited.
Pun intended?Moana would be the hook.
They had an easy layup if they had just put MMRR in AC, but no…had to replace a classic insteadIm still holding out for a ToonTown. Its crazy that Mickey and friends dont have a home in Florida.

I’ll reiterate that the money they are supposedly spending and the current construction timelines suggest faster. The supposed project rumored pipeline suggests they are going for a cadence of two major things a year.
I see no reason why Piston Peak requires an entire extra year compared to Pandora or the twin Galaxies Edge. One which included a ROA retool.
